All Praise is due to Allah. We praise Him and seek for His assistance. We seek His refuge from the evil of our own souls and from our misdeeds. No one can mislead whoever Allah guides and no one can guide whoever Allah causes to go astray.
To proceed, the Messenger of Allah, (Sallallaahu alayhi wasalaam) is indeed, the leader of mankind; this is an Islamic reality upon which all Muslims agree. And this agreement is a great blessing for this Ummah (nation). In this, all praise and favour belong to Allah.
There is no consideration for the opinion of some who deviated and believed that some Imams are greater than the Messenger of Allah, (Sallallaahu alayhi wasalaam) in terms of knowledge and other qualities. There are scholars who are capable of reinterpreting of proving the falsity of all narrations recorded in these books.
Clarity of the status of the Messenger of Allah, (Sallallaahu alayhi wasalaam), and that he is the owner of the Great Intercession, the visited Fountain and the exalted position in the world and in the Hereafter, are facts that no one can deny.
The Blessings of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasalaam) extended to the members of his household and his companions, May Allah be pleased with all of them.
Therefore, members of the Prophets Household enjoy great status. There are many Qur’anic verses and numerous Ahadith that supported this. These evidences include the mention of those among them who kept the company of the Messenger of Allah, (Sallallaahu alayhi wasalaam) as they include the mention of their offspring. They also explain their virtues and excellence. Continue reading

All praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, May the peace and blessings be upon all of His messengers.
This is a call for salvation which I would like to present to every wise person, hoping that Allah, The All omnipotent and The All-Sublime, would guide by it those who have gone astray, and that He may reward me bountifully and reward everyone who participates in distributing it.
We should know that the only way for our salvation in this life and in the hereafter is to know, for sure, our lord who created us, believe in Him, and worship Him Alone. We should also know our prophet whom Allah had sent to us and to mankind, believe in him and follow him. We should know the religion of truth which our lord commanded us to believe in and practice it.
This book, The Religion of Truth, treats these basic and great subjects. I have indicated in the foot-notes the meaning of some words and the explanation of the some subjects, basing these explanations on The Holy Quran and the traditions of Prophet Muhammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, because these two are the only sources of Islam, the religion of truth.
In this book, not only have I dropped blind imitation, which has already misled a large number of people before, but I have also discussed about quite number of deviated sects which still pretend to be on the right path, although they have gone astray.
This is an attempt to guide those who are related to such sects incautiously by showing them that these sects have deviated from the path of truth, and to warn others to take precautions for themselves.
May Allah guide me! He is the Most Exalted and on Him I depend. Continue reading

Allah has sent the Messenger (S) with guidance and the Religion of Truth. Strict adherence to the guidance of His Prophet (S) is required from the followers of Islam. The scholars of the Islamic community have attached great importance to it and produced texts regarding the Acts of Worship, Dealings and Habits in the light of the Divine guidance. This book is one of the most famous works written on this subject.
This book is one of the important resources of knowledge for those who seek to know the Seerah of their Prophet (PBUH) as well as, the Fiqh learned from it. This is a book that is unique in that it explains the Sunnah through the Seerah and the Seerah through the Sunnah. It is a profound classic work containing thousands of pages written by Imam ibn al-Qayyim while on the hajj journey, Pilgrimage, from Damascus to Makkah. Despite its being written from memory, the several thousand incidents, hadiths, ayah, fiqh benefits, as well as, names of the companions associated with them, were remarkably close to the truth, with marginal errors. However, those who know the status, level of knowledge and Ta’hqiq that Imam ibn al -Qayyim had, will not be surprised to know the fact. Still, it is amazing how ibn al-Qayyim was able to write this volume while traveling to Hajj, especially since he was away from the resources of knowledge and enduring the hardships of travel. It is a blessing from Allah (swt) that is was possible for him to do so.
Provisions for the Hereafter – Mukhtasar Zad Al-Maad (Zaad Al-Ma’ad) by Ibn Al-Qayyim (Qayim/Qayyem/Qayem/Qayum/Qayyum) Al-Jawziyyah (Jawziyah/Jauziah/Jauziyyah). Summarized by: Imam Muhammad Ibn ‘Abdul Wahhab At-Tamimi. Continue reading

This is a compilation of some of the wise sayings of the Prophet (pbuh), the companions, and of the pious predecessors and ascetics. Reflecting on these wise sayings and heeding these counsels will assist in infusing us with the requisite awareness and fervour to prepare for the Day of Judgement. We are all in need of such counsel, for our Day of Judgement begins not when the world ends, but when our life comes to an end – which is indeed imminent – as the Prophet (pbuh) stated.
Counsel of Threes
1 – It has been reported that the Prophet (pbuh) said, “The one who wakes up in the morning and complains about the scarcity of livelihood, it is as though he is complaining against his Lord. The one who wakes up and is sad over the affairs of the dunya, is as though he has woken up angry with Allah. And the one who humbles himself in front of a rich man because of his wealth will have lost two thirds of his Religion.”
2 – Abu Bakr al-Siddiq said, “There are three things which can not be attained through another three: wealth with hope, youth with dyeing [the hair], and health with medication.”
3 – Umar ibn al-Khattab said, “good interaction with people is half of intelligence, good questioning is half of knowledge, and good planning is half of subsistence.”
4 – Compassion and Kindness to Animals
5 – Uthman ibn Affan said, “the one who leaves the dunya Allah Exalted will love him; and the one who leaves sins, the Angels will love him; and the one who has no craving for the possessions of the Muslims, the Muslims will love him.”
Counsel of Nines
1 – The Prophet (pbuh) said, “Allah the Exalted revealed to Musa ibn Imran (Moses) in the Torah that the source of all mistakes are three – arrogance, envy and greed. Another six diseases were born out of these three, and thus they became nine – satiety, excessive sleep, excessive rest, love of wealth, love of praise, and love of leadership…

The Exquisite Pearl: The Journey to Allah and the Home of the Hereafter . Of all the faculties’ man has been endowed with, none excels the heart in importance and nobility. For the heart is both the seat of intelligence and understanding, and the locus of faith and spirituality; it is the quintessential faculty by which man may come to know his creator, and seek nearness and intimacy with Him. The heart’s spiritual sustenance lie sin its being receptive to the effusions of divine grace and guidance, without which the veils that cover it will continue to corrupt its primordial purity, gradually rendering it dysfunctional! Each veil- a metaphor for heedlessness, sins and distraction- that is melted away by the rays of faith and spiritual endeavour, allows vital qualities such as love of Allah, as well as hope, fear, remembrance, and reliance upon Him, are referred to in the religious vocabulary as spiritual stations; only when the heart embraces these stations is it said to be truly sound. The Majestic Qur’an informs: ‘The day when wealth and sons avail not, save him who brings to Allah a heart that is sound.’ This book explains some of the main spiritual stations that the heart is required to embrace as part of its worship of Allah and it’s journeying to Him. Each chapter commences with a line of poetry which highlights one of these spiritual stations; each stations is then explained in a clear, lucid style, seasoned with insights by some of the pietists and spiritual masters from the early Muslims. The nature and brevity of this book is such that it may be regarded as a primer to the science of suluk, or Muslim Spirituality. Continue reading
