Every individual is born into a religious environment that is not in accordance with his/her choice; a child is raised to follow the religion or ideology of his/her family, society or culture. Even as a new-born, he/she is assigned either the religion of his/her family or the ideology of the state; in some countries, the child’s assigned religion is even recorded on his/her birth certificate. By the time individuals reach their teens, they have usually accepted the beliefs of their parents or their particular society, feeling that they have little choice in the matter.

However, individuals often encounter, or are exposed, to various beliefs and ideologies throughout the course of their lives, leading many to question long-held beliefs, traditions or philosophical ideas. They begin to question the validity of their own beliefs. Seekers of truth often reach a point of confusion, especially upon realising that the believers of every religion, sect, ideology and philosophy claim to profess the one and only truth.

Amongst these beliefs is the one which Christians hold against Muhammad (salla Allâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam – blessings and peace be upon him), the Prophet of Islam, that he is not a true Messenger of God – Allah (subhânahu wa Ta‘âlâ – Glorified and Exalted is He).

Simply and logically, this book sheds light on biblical proofs that Muhammad is a true Prophet of Allah, who was prophesised about by his directly-preceding Prophet Jesus (‘alayhi as-salâm – peace be upon him). Before we proceed with the book, here is a reminder to bear the following four things in mind in one’s quest for the truth:

Firstly, Allah has given us the ability and the intellect to discover the answer to this crucial question, which is also a lifechanging decision: What is the True Religion?

Secondly, Allah, the Most Compassionate, has not left us to go astray without any guidance. Indeed, He sent us prophets with scriptures to show us the right path.

Thirdly, always remember the underlying reason for this search: the ever-lasting life to come depends upon finding the true religion in this life. This should be your ultimate motivation, and a driving force to keep you searching until you are completely satisfied.

Fourthly, one can only determine the true path and make a rational and correct decision if one willingly puts aside, all the emotions and prejudices, which often blind one to reality.

With this short preface, I leave you to peruse the book. Continue reading

Is The Bible The Word Of God?

Many books have been glorified and respected by people throughout the ages and centuries. They were preserved because of their importance so that people may benefit from them; moreover, a culture can be inherited from them in order to maintain the personality of a specific nation, whether the book is good or bad or a mix of good and bad.

When it comes to the scriptures which Allah (Subhânahu wa Ta‘âlâ – Glorified and Exalted is He) has revealed to the people, human beings attempted to preserve them. However, the result was that there are now different versions of the same referred book, which indicates a failure of the preservation attempt.

No one can argue that Allah has revealed the Torah and the Gospel to prophets Jesus (‘Alayhi as-salâm – peace be upon him) and Moses respectively. However, can any one of their followers put their finger on a specific version of the Old Testament or the New Testament and say: this is the word of God which He revealed to prophet Jesus or Moses? I leave the answer to the respected reader.

However, when it comes to the Qur’an, the whole Muslim community [more than one billion Muslims] testifies the preservation of the Qur’an across the centuries.

In this little booklet, light is shed on various proofs that the Bible, which was revealed to Jesus was widely altered; whereas, the Qur’an is wholly preserved, and hence it is the only reliable source of divine teachings in the hands of people today that can described as ‘the word of Allah’.

Before we start reading the book, I would like to thank Dr. Bilal Philips, and Brother Muhammad bin Abdullah Caraballo who gave me the opportunity to learn and quote from their books.

With this short preface, I leave you to peruse the book. Continue reading

This is a poster shows the gradual development of the English Bible. It also proves that the Bible was being influenced by deletion and insertion. Dear friend! Why do not you read the Quran (the final Revelation that is still preserved in its original Arabic language and free from error, deletion and insertion) that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) fourteen centuries ago in a period spanning approximately 23 years. The Muslims Beliefs Concerning The Messiah

Sheikh Muhammad Salih Al-Munajjid

What are the Muslims’ beliefs concerning the Messiah ‘Eesa ibn Maryam?

Praise be to Allaah.

Our beliefs concerning the Messiah ‘Eesa ibn Maryam (Jesus the son of Mary – peace be upon him) are those indicated by the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of our Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

We believe that ‘Eesa (peace be upon him) was one of the slaves of Allaah, and one of His noble Messengers. Allaah sent him to the Children of Israel to call them to believe in Allaah alone and worship Him alone.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): {And (remember) when ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: ‘O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allaah unto you, confirming the Tawraat [(Torah) which came] before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad.’ But when he (Ahmad, i.e. Muhammad) came to them with clear proofs, they said: ‘This is plain magic’}[al-Saff 61:6].

Transliteration: Waith qala AAeesa ibnu maryama ya banee israeela innee rasoolu Allahi ilaykum musaddiqan lima bayna yadayya mina alttawrati wamubashshiran birasoolin yatee min baAAdee ismuhu ahmadu falamma jaahum bialbayyinati qaloo hatha sihrun mubeenun

{But the Messiah [‘Eesa (Jesus)] said: ‘O Children of Israel! Worship Allaah, my Lord and your Lord.’ Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with Allaah, then Allaah has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers} [al-Maa’idah 5:72].

Transliteration: Laqad kafara allatheena qaloo inna Allaha huwa almaseehu ibnu maryama waqala almaseehu ya banee israeela oAAbudoo Allaha rabbee warabbakum innahu man yushrik biAllahi faqad harrama Allahu AAalayhi aljannata wamawahu alnnaru wamalilththalimeena min ansarin

‘Eesa was not a god or the son of God as the Christians claim.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): {Surely, they have disbelieved who say: ‘Allaah is the Messiah [‘Eesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary).’} [al-Maa’idah 5:72].

Transliteration: Laqad kafara allatheena qaloo inna Allaha huwa almaseehu ibnu maryama

{And the Jews say: ‘Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allaah, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allaah. That is their saying with their mouths, resembling the saying of those who disbelieved aforetime. Allaah’s Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth!} [al- Tawbah 9:30].

Transliteration: Waqalati alyahoodu AAuzayrun ibnu Allahi waqalati alnnasara almaseehu ibnu Allahi thalika qawluhum biafwahihim yudahioona qawla allatheena kafaroo min qablu qatalahumu Allahu annayufakoona

The first words that ‘Eesa spoke when Allaah caused him to speak when he was in the cradle were (interpretation of the meaning): {He [‘Eesa (Jesus)] said: ‘Verily, I am a slave of Allaah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet’} [Maryam 19:30].

Transliteration: Qala innee AAabdu Allahi ataniya alkitaba wajaAAalanee nabiyyan

We believe that Allaah supported him with miracles that proved he was speaking the truth.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): {(Remember) when Allaah will say (on the Day of Resurrection). ‘O ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Remember My Favour to you and to your mother when I supported you with Rooh‑ul‑Qudus [Jibreel (Gabriel)] so that you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and when I taught you writing, Al‑Hikmah (the power of understanding), the Tawraat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel); and when you made out of the clay, a figure like that of a bird, by My Permission, and you breathed into it, and it became a bird by My Permission, and you healed those born blind, and the lepers by My Permission, and when you brought forth the dead by My Permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from you (when they resolved to kill you) as you came unto them with clear proofs, and the disbelievers among them said: This is nothing but evident magic’} [al-Maa’idah 5:110].

We believe that ‘Eesa was born from the Virgin Maryam with no father, and that is not impossible for Allaah Who, when He wills a thing, says “Be!” and it is.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): {Verily, the likeness of ‘Eesa (Jesus) before Allaah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: ‘Be!’ — and he was} [Aal ‘Imraan 3:59].

{(Remember) when the angels said: ‘O Maryam (Mary)! (45) He will speak to the people, in the cradle and in manhood, and he will be one of the righteous.’ (46) She said: ‘O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me.’ He said: ‘So (it will be) for Allaah creates what He wills. Truly And Falsely Jesus In The Bible

http://futureislam.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/truly-and-falsely-jesus-in-the-bible.jpg

Saleh Ali Alsobiyl
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 195 | Size: 1.5 MB

There is a biblical verse which clearly indicates that there was no unanimous agreement about Jesus, his reality and message, among those who went to preach about him after his ascension. Rather, there was substantial dispute among them to the point that one of those preachers announced his worry to his followers, and warned them from the deception of another preacher, who may come to them and preach a different Jesus to the one he had presented to them. This preacher depicted his counterpart as the Devil who deceived Eve by his lies, afraid that the minds of his followers may be corrupted, and that they would gladly tolerate the one who comes to them and preaches another Jesus. This is in a clear text, thus: ―I am afraid that your minds will be corrupted and that you will abandon your full and pure devotion to Christ, in the same way that Eve was deceived by the serpent’s lies. For you gladly tolerate the one who comes to you and preaches a different Jesus not the one we preached.‖ (2 Corinthians 11: 3-4)

This verse clearly speaks about two different, alternative images of Jesus were preached to people after his ascension. These two different images found their way to the New Testaments, and their pieces scattered into many chapters. These two different depictions cannot, of course, both be concurrently authentic. But one must be for Truly Jesus, and the other one is for Falsely Jesus. Both images cannot meet in one heart. Surely, Jesus cannot be the source of both different images. This book brings together these two biblical images of Jesus, examines them, explores their difference and answers the questions that may rise regarding them such as:

– What are the sources of Truly and Falsely Jesus?
– Why and how did Falsely Jesus appear?
– What title can be given to those who hang the image of Falsely Jesus in their hearts?
– When does the truth come out and falseness come to an end?
– Can the faith in Falsely Jesus benefit the one who believe in such Jesus?
– What is the relation between salvation and Jesus?
– What is the destiny of a person who relies on this false understanding?
– How can we find the correct way to God, And how can we be sure of it?
– What are the conditions of Salvation?

Can we really grasp the genuine reality of Jesus? Surely. But we risk the danger of being misguided by false information unless we purify our intention and seek the proven truth. And at this point, God will not let down his servant. Rather will guide him to the truth. Truly Jesus will remain as will as Falsely Jesus, until the Second Coming of Christ, when the truth will become clear and falsehood will be destroyed.

I pray to God to accept this effort as a sincere one, and to provide my dear readers with both clarity of intention and the ability to distinguish between the two readings of Jesus as presented in this book.

Salvation, the Goal

People of all geographic and religious backgrounds, throughout history, who believe in an afterlife, define salvation as a state of being saved from Hell. And who would not want to attain that goal? Only on the Day of Resurrection shall we be paid our recompense in full. Whosoever is removed from Hell and admitted to Paradise is indeed successful. The life of this world is but the enjoyment of illusion. Surely there can be only one true formula for salvation, but what is it? Is it a mystery or is it obvious? The followers of each religion claim that their understanding of salvation is correct. Of course there can be only one correct religion and, therefore, one correct understanding of salvation. And this must be the same conceptual understanding as taught by all the true messengers, since the first contact between heaven and earth.

We therefore need to be sure that our formula for salvation is correct before facing death. And for this purpose, with mercy, love, and care, I am writing this piece of research for you, my dear reader. I hope and pray that you will find the answers that you are looking for.

Why Jesus?

Many people believe that Jesus is the key to their salvation, their savior. Surely, he was a unique being because of his miraculous birth, his ascension and Second Coming. However, significant disputes remain about his reality and mission.

The message of God about faith and salvation was always the same throughout history. It was always based on ―submission‖ to the one and only true God, by complete obedience with devotion. This message of true faith was revealed to Adam who passed it to his children. Then it was confirmed by Noah and all the messengers and prophets of God who came after him. And it was sent throughout human history to various societies and nations, whenever they needed guidance, or when had strayed from the true path. So, the religion of God which came with all the messengers, contains the same pillars of faith even if there were different legal systems and patterns of worship from one prophet or messenger to another. That is until God chose to send the final revelation, with the final Law and the final salvation’s formula to all mankind for the remainder of human history. Continue reading

How The Bible Led Me To Islam?!

Joshua Evans

A very interesting video about the former Christian Youth Minister Joshua Evans who converted to Islam after studying a lot of religions as: Christianity and Buddhism. Evans shows issues made him leave Christianity and embrace Islam such as: the contradictions in the Bible, the pornographic phrases in it and verses which offend some of Allah’s Prophets considered the best creation. These verses make them in the worst images. Also, Evans mentions a proof that confirms Jesus isn’t a God. Finally he tells that in the beginning of his research, he excluded Islam from studying due to writings of an orientalist about Islam. Continue reading

Let The Bible Speak

The book of the religion remains always as proof of the religion. If the book is right then its religion is right, if it is wrong: then its religion is wrong.

To consider any scripture as a (HOLY BOOK) it should: – be free of errors, contradictions. – be free of omissions, additions, distortions, alterations. – be free of the low, obscene words. – be free of slander, of God, God’s Prophets. – be free of racism. – describe God in the best possible way, not negatively. – be expressed in the most beautiful language, the language of the creator of languages. – It should not permit what God has forbidden, nor forbid what God has allowed.

You should know that God has prepared a day of reckoning when he will ask you about your sincerity in seeking the truth. – Who ever sincerely sought the truth will be guided, but all those who ignore the truth stubbornly count themselves among the looser on the Day of Judgment. – People to day struggle to enjoy life, why do not they struggle for Paradise? – Why are they after temporary pleasure? While forgetting the ever lasting bliss? – To discover the truth you need to do two things: an enlightened scientific and attentive attitude. A desire to find the truth, no matter where it is. An open mind, free of prejudice and bigotry.

The seeker of truth should fear falsehood, supporting truth and make a firm commitment to it. 1- We turn honestly and sincerely to our Lord, and seek His guidance to reach the truth. 2- How much are we in need of a firm vision of truth and a solid commitment to it, how desperate is our need to appeal to our Lord earnestly for guidance and help in following it. For without God’s help and guidance no one will ever find truth. May Allah guide us always closer to the truth. Continue reading

The Bible Led Me To Islam

This effort is for all Christians who recognize their inner responsibility and yearning for guided worship of the One True God. Worship that is not based on social, secular or family norms, but because it is his/her birthright and duty to worship their (our) Creator.

This book is a compilation of excerpts from several books addressing Christianity that I had the pleasure of reading before and after I became a Muslim. After becoming a Muslim, I continued to read books about Christianity because the “skin” of Christianity was hard to cast off after 28 years in the religion; years that almost led me to becoming the minister of an African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) church In Great Falls, Montana.

I have attempted to select and arrange pertinent information from these resourceful books in a straight forward manner, so as to provide the kind of tailored and consolidated information I would have liked someone to give me during my Christian days. Nevertheless, the plan for me to embrace/revert back to Islam came as prescribed by Allah.

I would like to mention that when I refer to the word “God” in this book, I’m speaking of the One Supreme Being, who has no partners and is not part of a trinity. It should be mentioned that the Arabic word “Allah” was used by Christians as well as by Muslims according to the 1966 edition of Encyc10pedia Britannica (See the word Allah).

I encourage you to set aside your pre-conceived notions about Christianity and Islam, and have an open mind for what is presented. It is my hope (By Allah’s Will) that this effort will open before you a spark of interest that enables you to continue to read beyond the Bible, and make an educated decision after understanding both rehgions. A decision that is based on your choice and not the choice of your parents or the media. Once you have all the facts, you can then align yourself with the only purpose we were created, and that is to worship (Allah) God. Continue reading

Is The New Testament God’s Word?

https://islamfuture.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/is-the-new-testament-god-s-word.jpg

Munqidh ibn Mahmoud As-Saqqaar

Allah (S.W) had sent his messengers – one after another – with signs, true guidance and light, to reveal them to people.

Among these faithful prophets was the great messenger and prophet, the Messiah, Jesus (PBUH). Allah (S.W.) bestowed the Gospel on him. “Then, We sent after them Our Messengers, and We sent ‘Îsâ (Jesus) – son of Maryam (Mary), and gave him the Injeel (Gospel). And We ordained in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy. But the monasticism which they invented for themselves, We did not prescribe for them, but (they sought it) only to please Allâh therewith, but they did not observe it with the right observance. So We gave those among them who believed their (due) reward; but many of them are Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).” (Al-Hadid: 27)

Allah (S.W.) asks the believers to believe in all prophets and in the revelations; He (S.W.) has given them. “Say (O Muslims), ‘We believe in Allâh and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrâhîm (Abraham), Ismâ‘îl (Ishmael), Ishâq (Isaac), Ya‘qûb (Jacob), and to Al-Asbât [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya‘qûb (Jacob)], and that which has been given to Mûsâ (Moses) and ‘Îsâ (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islâm).’” (Al-Baqarah: 136)

Describing the believers, Allah (S.W.) says, “The Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله علیھ وسلم ) believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in Allâh, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. (They say), ‘We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers.’” (Al-Baqarah: 285)

The Gospel that Allah (S.W.) revealed to Jesus (PBUH) is not necessarily the chapters of the New Testament, which Christians consider holy, and was written by Jesus’ (PBUH) disciples and those after them. These human stories, biographies, and letters are not the revelation that Allah (S.W.) had revealed to Jesus (PBUH).

How could people attribute their own writings to Allah (S.W.) falsely? “Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say, ‘This is from Allâh,’ to purchase with it a little price! Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for that they earn thereby.” (Al- Baqarah: 79)

This verse is clear divine evidence that the people of the book (Jews and Christians) had altered and changed the word of God. It declares that what they have now, Old and New Testaments is not the word of Allah (S.W.).

Nevertheless, Muslims have no objection that some of the New Testament passages, which tell us about Jesus’ (PBUH) advices, sayings and deeds, are true. This is the Muslims’ opinion regarding this issue. Christians believe that the New Testament is Allah’s (S.W.) word that was written by holy men with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

However, do the scientific historical evidences (and even the New Testament passages) support what the Holy Quran says or do they support the Christians belief? In our first book of this series, we proved that the Old Testament is not the word of Allah (S.W.). In this message, which is the second in this series, we will answer another question; is the New Testament God’s word?

To answer this question, we will investigate the Holy Bible, Christian theologians, researchers, and the science and history scholars, and following a scientific methodology.
