Allah (Subhânahu wa Ta‘âlâ – Glorified and Exalted is He) is the Most-Kind, the Most Compassionate. He did not leave people to go astray. Indeed, He sent prophets to tell people who had created them, why they had been created, what is His right on them [being their Lord], what are the rights of human beings towards Him if they obey Him, what are His attributes, how to worship Him, what is the fact behind death, and what is going to happen after death: paradise for those who follow Hismessengers and hell-fire for those who don’t.

Allah, the most-kind and Wise, did not give a chance to the followers of Jesus (‘alayhi as-salâm – peace be upon him) to forever suffer, split and conflict between themselves on the reality of his personality. Indeed, He sent Prophet Muhammad (salla Allâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam – blessings and peace be upon him) to unveil the fact and solve what people perceived as a mystery or a point of great division.

This humble work sheds light on the personality of a great prophet, Prophet Jesus, son of Mary (peace be upon them both). It details his characteristics, and clarifies all the doubts about his personality by clearly referring the reader to specific references in the Bible and other Islamic sources. These have been supported with theoretical and logical proofs which ultimately set Prophet Jesus, in the mind of the fair reader, at the correct level without committing any extremes or deviation.

Before I leave you with the book, I would like to thank all those respected scholars, who gave me a chance to learn and quote extensively from their books, especially Dr. Jamal Badawi, Dr. Bilal Philips, Dr. Ahmed Deedat, Dr. Naji Arfaj and Brother Muhammad bin Abdullah Caraballo. My small contribution is mainly a compilation of passages from their wonderful works.

With this short preface, I leave you to peruse the book. Continue reading

“WHO MOVED THE STONE?” or “who ROLLED away the stone?” (Mark 16:3) is a question which has worried theologians for the past two thousand years. Mr Frank Morison, a prominent Bible scholar, tried to nail down this ghost(s) in a book bearing the same title as this tract. Between 1930 and 1975 his book has gone through ELEVEN editions. Through all his 192 pages of conjectures he failed to answer, “WHO MOVED THE STONE?” (Faber and Faber, London).

On page 89 of his book, he writes, “We are left, therefore, with the problem of the vacant tomb unsolved” and proceeds to advance SIX hypotheses, very nearly knocking the proverbial nail on the head with his FIRST supposition, i.e. “THAT JOSEPH OF ARIMATHEA SECRETLY REMOVED THE BODY TO A MORE SUITABLE RESTING PLACE”. After confessing that this Joseph “might himself have removed it for private reasons to another place, is one which seems to carry considerable weight” (italics mine), he hurriedly disposes this hypothesis on the flimsiest ground. As you read on, dear reader, I trust that you as well as Mr Morison will have a satisfactory answer to this problem. Let us begin at the beginning of this problem. Continue reading
