This message is for every Christian who is welling to search for the truth with a sincere desire, and a broad mind to provide him with answers to questions that would otherwise take him long time to find.

Since you are a Christian, have you ever thought of the origin of Christmas; or how genuine is Christmas? Or, do you consider Christmas a social tradition or a ritual? If you consider it a social tradition, then there is no room for it in you faith. If it as a ritual, then it should hav:e. an origin in your Bible. If it does not have an origin in your Bible, then, either the Bible is false or Christmas is. It is time you should know the truth about Christ and Christmas. Here is what Britannica Encyclopedia has to say about Christmas:

Christnlas (Old English “Christ’s Mass”) Christian festival celebrated on December 25, commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ and is also a popular secular holiday. According to a Roman almanac, the Christian festival of Christmas was celebrated in Rome by AD 336.

The ecclesiastical calendar retains numerous remnants of pre-Christian festivals-notably Christmas, UJhich blends elements including both the feasts of the Saturnalia and the birthday of Mithra.

The development of legends

Legends developed in Christianity because of a need to answer questions posed by the less intellectual Christians, the need for stories of exemplary Christians, and the transference of the deeds of pagan gods and goddesses in popular piety to those zuho are of saints and martyrs. Many Christians UJere not satisfied with the gaps in the narration of Christ’s life in the canonical Gospels. There thus developed several apocrypha,l often influenced by Gnosticism, that provided legendary accounts of Christ’s life, as well as those of the Apostles.2

Since you are a fellow human being, first and foremost, we are concerned about your spiritual welfare;’ hence we have prepared this message for you.

Mankind belong to one single father, Adam, and have one single God, Allah, Who has brought them into existence, and provided them with their means of substance in order to worship Him alone. It is inconceivable that the God Who created the universe and every thing in it to need help; let alone taking a son or a spouse, or a partner. He was all by Himself when there was nothing in existence; then He created mankind and the rest of the creation for one single purpose, that is to worship Him. Continue reading

A Message To Who Does Not Believe In Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

A Scientific and Material Speech to this who does not believe in Muhammad the Messenger of Allah

Mocking Allah, His verses and His Messenger has become a normal thing nowadays and it comes in most cases from abroad, where atheists claim that Islam is a religion of underdevelopment, terrorism and ignorance. That›s why the enemies of Islam continued to mock its teachings, claiming that they have become out of date and do not fit the times!

Glorified be Allah! Has freedom of expression become, from their point of view, their freedom to mock the greatest creature of Allah (PBUH)? However, apparently, those have not found any scientific thing to criticize Islam for; thus, they tended to use these desperate cartoons. They failed to extract any scientific or linguistic mistake from the Noble Qur›an or the ahadith (speeches) of the greatest Messenger to convince their followers about it, except these cartoons, which reflect their bankruptcy.

We have the right to express our opinion about such things, but, we do not mock their prophets, Moses and Jesus, peace be upon them, as they are quit of them and their deeds and because we do not differentiate between these honored prophets, as they are all messengers from Allah (Exalted be He). But, before doing so, let›s listen to this saying of Allah (Exalted be He) about those people and the like of them:

«Surely the ones who hurt Allah and His Messenger, Allah has cursed them in the present (life) (Literally: the lowly (life), i.e., the life of this world) and the Hereafter, and He has prepared for them a degrading torment *** And the ones who hurt male believers and female believers, without that they have earned it, then they have readily burdened themselves calumny and evident vice» [Surat Al-Ahzab: 57-58].

These cartoons hurt Allah and mock His Messenger and represent a severe hurt to every male and female believer. That›s why the likes of those are promised a painful torment on the Day of Judgment, if they do not stop doing such act.

Our style of expression will be more severe and enduring than theirs, which is no more than cartoons that do not reflect anything except illusions existing no where but in the imagination of their author. We will address those (people) in the language of science, which they failed to use in addressing us! And we will tell them the reality of that merciful Prophet (PBUH).

I am not going to talk about the good manners and the wonderful attributes that the final Prophet had, because those do not have these manners and do not recognize it, but, we will direct a scientific and material speech to them, including the facts that this honored Prophet brought with him and are present in the Qur›an and recited fourteen centuries ago and up till now. I tell those, who are proud of science and justice, because they represent technically advanced countries and they are democratic countries that believe in justice and rights, we say: the Qur’an, which you mock, was the first book to call for science and justice, and these two are the measures of success and continuity of any civilization.

Indeed, the first word sent down to that honored Prophet was «read» and this proves that Islam is the religion of science. While, the last word sent down of the Qur’an was «they will not be done injustice» and this proves that Islam is the religion of justice. Thus, what you boast today, our Prophet (PBUH) preceded you to it long centuries ago.

You say that you are the first to call for searching the history of universe and creatures and you are proud of this, but we ask you to read the saying of Allah (Exalted be He) in the Noble Qur›an, about an explicit and direct call to investigate the beginning of creation: «Say, “Travel in the earth, then look how He began creation. Thereafter Allah brings into being the last bringing up. Surely Allah is Ever-Determiner of everything» [Surat Al-Ankabut: 20]. This proves Qur›an›s interest in investigation, contemplation, research and study.

Indeed, our Prophet (PBUH) has set a scientific basis for astronomy and cosmic phenomena, when people thought the sun eclipsed for the death of Ibrahim, the son of the Prophet (PBUH), so he said: (the sun and the moon are two signs of Allah’s (Exalted be He) and they do not eclipse for the death or life of anybody). [Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

These words of the Prophet of mercy (PBUH) came at a time when you used to believe that eclipse is an indication of the birth of a great person or his death, the fall of a governor or the loss of a battle.

At a time when Europe was full of priests, astrologers and charlatans and those were believed by most people then. At this time, our Prophet (PBUH) prohibited such acts as he said: (anyone who goes to a priest or a fortuneteller and believes him in what he says, he has disbelieved in what was sent down to Muhammad) [narrated by Ahmad].

At the time when you thought that the earth is stable and immobile, the Qur’an set a scientific fact confirming that everything in universe rotates in a specific orbit and this fact was not discovered except recently. He (Exalted be He) says about the earth, the sun and the moon: «and each is swimming in an orbit» [Surat Ya-sin: 40]. Continue reading

The Message Of The Messengers

https://islamfuture.files.wordpress.com/2011/05/the-message-of-the-messengers.jpg

Dr. Saleh as-Saleh

Allah could not have created this universe without a purpose. He is All-Wise, All- Knowledgeable, All-Merciful and All-Just. All of these attributes entail providing ways of guidance that would lead to the proper knowledge of Him, and thus the right way to worship Him:

أَيَحۡسَبُ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ أَن يُتۡرَكَ سُدًى

“Does man think that he will be left Sudaa1 (without a purpose)?” (Qur’an 75: 36)

One of Allah’s ways of guidance is the office of Messengership which involves the Message and the Messenger. The essence of the Message is to direct man to relate to His Creator through complete submission and obedience (this is the meaning of Islam).

Man does not possess the air he breathes. He does not create. He is not the creator of himself. He needs to know what benefits him and what harms him. The Message from Allah comprehends everything. It brings man to live for a noble purpose. That is why Allah called the Message of Islam, an Inspiration and a Light:

“And thus We have sent to you (O Muhammad) Ruhan2 of Our command. You knew not what is the Book (the Qur’an), nor what is Iman (Faith)? But We have made it (the Qur’an) a Light, whereby We guide whom We will of Our bondsmen. And verily you are indeed guiding (mankind) to the Straight Path.” (Qur’an 42: 52)

The Inspiration brings Life, and the Light brings Light. Allah gave a beautiful parable on the Message and its effects, saying:

He sends down water (rain) from the sky, and the valleys flow according to their measure, but the flood bears away the foam that mounts up to the surface, and (also) from that (ore) which they heat in the fire in order to make ornaments or utensils, rises a foam like unto it, thus does Allah (by parables) show forth truth and falsehood. Then, as for the foam it passes away as scum upon the banks, while that which is for the good of mankind remains in the earth. Thus Allah set forth parables (for the Truth and Falsehood, i.e. Belief and Disbelief).” (Qur’an 13: 17)

The Knowledge about the Message (about Allah, the universe, the purpose of our existence, what is good and what is bad) is like the water sent down from the sky. In the water there is life for our bodies and in the Message there is life for our hearts. The parable of the light was given in the heating fire which removes impurities (foam) from metals like iron, gold, and silver, and what remains is a pure and beneficial substance.

The valleys are our hearts. This is where knowledge flows to. Some valleys can hold more water flow than others; each has its own capacity. Some valleys have surfaces that will not hold any water. The same for hearts. Some holding more knowledge than others, while some comprehend and understand little. The foam produced during water flow passes away as scum upon the banks and what benefits mankind remains on the earth. Similarly, lust, uncontrolled desires, doubts about Allah and His true religion are just like foam; they shall pass away while belief in Him and in His Message will remain. This life links man to his Creator and to all that is created by Allah, and provides him with codes of conduct that distinguish him from the animal world. Those who think that man’s presence on earth has no purpose are most certainly wrong:

وَقَالُواْ مَا هِىَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا ٱلدُّنۡيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحۡيَا وَمَا يُہۡلِكُنَآ إِلَّا ٱلدَّهۡرُ‌ۚ وَمَا لَهُم بِذَٲلِكَ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍ‌ۖ إِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ

“And they say: “There is nothing but our life of this world, we die and we live, and nothing destroys us except the Dahr (time)3″. And they have no knowledge of it, they only conjecture.” (Qur’an 45: 24)

Those who are aimless about their purpose of existence search for all possible means of “enjoyment” and compete for it. Their life as explained by Allah:

“They have hearts (minds) wherewith they understand not, they have eyes wherewith they see not, and they have ears wherewith they hear not (the Truth). They are like cattle, nay even more astray; those! They are the heedless ones.” (Qur’an 7: 179)

In the world of animals there is a struggle for survival! But in the human world there is a purpose:

“O mankind! We have created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other. Verily, the most honorable of you in the sight of Allah is that (believer) who is best in At- Taqwa: adhering to the religion of Allah and best in performing good deeds as prescribed by Allah.” (Qur’an 49: 13)

The aim to achieve At-Taqwa is constructive and beneficial and it stands against mischief like “might is right,” “my Color is better,” “worshipping of idols, lust, money, or other created entities,” and so forth:

This is part of man’s purpose on earth. Man’s whole life is related to His Creator:

قُلۡ إِنَّ صَلَاتِى وَنُسُكِى وَمَحۡيَاىَ وَمَمَاتِى لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ – لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ۥ‌ۖ وَبِذَٲلِكَ أُمِرۡتُ وَأَنَا۟ أَوَّلُ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ

Say (O Muhammad SAW): “Verily, my Salât (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allâh, the Lord of the ‘Alamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists) (162) “He has no partner. And of this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims.” (163) (Qur’an 6: 162-163)

All deeds and utterances, open or hidden, and which Allah loves and accepts, constitute the meaning of worship. All forms of worship are explained in the Qur’an and by the Prophet (SAW: sallallaahu ‘alaihi was-sallam4). Worship is not left for our limited minds to decide upon their ways. Worship is one’s life according to Islam. Thus it can only be devoted to our Creator, Allah. Continue reading

The Messengers And The Messages In The Light Of The Qur’an And Sunnah

Is it true that mankind today has reached such a level of progress that they have no need of the Messengers and their teachings? Are humans capable today of guiding themselves without referring to the methods set out by the Messengers?

The answer is No. Mankind needs to know the Messenger, and the Message he conveyed. They have to believe in what he said and obey him. The only way to achieve happiness and success in this world and in the Hereafter is to follow the Messenger. By following the Messenger, man will become aware of the details of good and evil, and Allah will be pleased with him. His guidance comprises good deeds, good speech, and good morals. His speech and conduct are the criteria against which all actions are measured. Without a Messenger’s guidance, man is like a fish out of water. When man abandons this guidance, then his heart is spoiled.

Since man’s happiness in this world and in the Hereafter is linked to the guidance of the Prophet, one should know well the prophet’s teachings and biography in order to join his true and successful followers.

This comprehensive work which is full of clear proofs and evidences from the pure teachings of Islam, is an essential reading for all Muslims and seekers of truth. Continue reading

Recitation Of The Noble Qur’an (Arabic-English)

https://islamfuture.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/recitation-of-the-noble-qur-an-arabic-english.jpg

Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali

Translated by: Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali. For the first time the Noble Qur’an, and the translation of its meaning in the English language by Dr Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali and Dr Muhammad Muhsin Khan, are being presented on audio CDs. The beautiful recitation of the Noble Qur’an is done by Sheikh Nadir Al-Qallawi, and the translation is read by Mr. Phelps (Bilal Abdul-Karim) from USA.

The Qur’an (”Qor-Ann”) is a Message from Allah (swt) to humanity. It was transmitted to us in a chain starting from the Almighty Himself (swt) to the angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad (saw). This message was given to the Prophet (saw) in pieces over a period spanning approximately 23 years (610 CE to 632 CE). The Prophet (saw) was 40 years old when the Qur’an began to be revealed to him, and he was 63 when the revelation was completed. The language of the original message was Arabic, but it has been translated into many other languages.

The Qur’an is one of the two sources which form the basis of Islam. The second source is the Sunnah of the Prophet (saw). What makes the Qur’an different from the Sunnah is primarily its form. Unlike the Sunnah, the Qur’an is literally the Word of Allah (swt), whereas the Sunnah was inspired by Allah but the wording and actions are the Prophet’s (saw). The Qur’an has not been expressed using any human’s words. Its wording is letter for letter fixed by no one but Allah.

Prophet Muhammad (saw) was the final Messenger of Allah to humanity, and therefore the Qur’an is the last Message which Allah (swt) has sent to us. Its predecessors such as the Torah, Psalms, and Gospels have all been superseded. It is an obligation – and blessing – for all who hear of the Qur’an and Islam to investigate it and evaluate it for themselves. Allah (swt) has guaranteed that He will protect the Qur’an from human tampering, and today’s readers can find exact copies of it all over the world. The Qur’an of today is the same as the Qur’an revealed to Muhammad (saw) 1400 years ago. Continue reading

A Call To The Real Salvation

This is an invitation to observe, to ponder and to be with us, aware and certain that it is our duty and moral obligation to convey the message of our Creator. In the search for truth, it is indispensable that we take some time and effort to know the basis of our faith, and as true believers, we must follow the purest essence of our belief as exemplified by the messengers of God. Who else can give us the guidance but those whom God chose and entrusted with the mission of proclaiming glad tidings to the believers and warnings to those who deviate from the way of our Creator and refuse to believe?

Religion for some may simply be a field of academics, to others it’s a medium solely for spiritual enrichment, and to a lot more various aspects or views people may find fitting on their level of desires or caprices. But for us, our religion is a complete way of life as shown by all the prophets of God (Peace and blessing be upon them all) and as epitomized by the last Prophet (Peace and blessing be upon him) in orders to attain salvation.

There is no doubt that this temporary life is only a probationary period, a transitory phase to the next and final one. As such, it should offer everyone the necessary requirements instrumental in paving the way for our last destination, where belief in the lone Creator and obedience to His command (doing what is right and forbidding what is wrong) will be the only acceptable means to merit salvation.

Thus, knowing the true teachings of God is tantamount to knowing life! That’s how important it is!

With due respect and love to Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon him) as one of God’s mightiest prophets who was sent to the lost sheep of Israel, we cannot discount the teachings he brought to establish the way, the truth and the life.

We regard and accept him as a real messenger of God whose ways and belief inevitably coincide with ours as illustrated by the last Prophet including all the Prophets before him (Peace and blessing be upon them all).

Yes, Prophet Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon him) was not a Christian for he did not introduce Christianity to the world, as evidenced by what he said in Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I have come to destroy the Law or the prophets. I have come not to destroy, but to fulfill.”

Instead, he confirmed the teachings preceding him, which was the Law set by Prophet Moses (Peace and blessing be upon him). A guidance that is sanctioned by and is also analogous with that of Islam, having been anchored upon monotheism, its inherent bedrock which happens to be every other prophet’s battlecry and message.

Moreover, Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon him) further uttered words which prove that his mission was not yet complete and that another Prophet was to come after him to finalize the message, the guidance or the revelation itself, when he prophesied in John 16:7-14.

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you, and when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in me; of righteousness, because I go to my father and you see me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of the world is judged. I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak of his own authority; but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify me. He will take what is of mine and declare it to you.” Continue reading

The Message – The Story Of Islam

https://islamfuture.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/the-message-the-story-of-islam.jpg

It is the 7th century and in Mecca, where powerful leaders are in conflict with Muhammad who attacks the many injustices their way of life produces – slavery, drunkeness and cruelty. Muhammad claims to have seen a vision of the Angel Gabriel and calls to the people of mecca to worship one God only. After a revelation from God, Muhammad agrees to take arms against Mecca and at the Wells of Badr the inexperienced Muslim troops are victorious. However, at the Battle of Uhud they are beaten. They accept a ten year truce, so that they can continue to spread the word of God. Muhammad is the Prophet….The Messenger of God. (English Version) Continue reading

Its herald was Mohammed, the bringer of glad tidings and a warner. Its Book was the clear and Enlightening Qur’an. [Ulum Al Qur’an] An Introduction To The Sciences Of The Qur’an

The Qur’an contains the revelations of Allah, the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe, to mankind. It is the message from God to man and therefore of utmost importance to us. To properly grasp a message, one needs first of all to understand its contents exactly, and for this purpose one must study the Qur’an deeply and in detail. In fact, some people do spend their whole lives studying the Qur’an, reading and reflecting upon it and, as they grow and develop, both physically and spiritually, they discover for themselves new meanings and implications. Secondly, some special knowledge of the circumstances that surround the message is also necessary for fuller understanding of its meaning and implications. Although some part of this special knowledge can be derived from the Qur’an itself, there remain other areas of knowledge that can only be discovered by wider study and research. Muslims have from earliest times, applied themselves not only to the message from Allah the Qur’an but also to its setting and framework, and the preoccupation with these ultimately developed into the ‘sciences’ of or ‘knowledge’ about the Qur’an, known as “ulum al-qur’an’. The contents of this book are an Introduction to the Sciences of Quran.  This concise book deals with traditional Quaranic subjects such as the meaning of revelation, history and transmission of Quaranic text, asbab al-nuzul, exegesis, etc. Ulum al-Qur’an also contains issues of more recent origin, for instance the recording of the Qur’an and orientalists’ views regarding the Quran. The concluding chapter of this literature contains valuable practical advice for reading and studying the Holy Book of Islam. Continue reading

How many times have you heard the phrase, “Would you do that if the prophet was watching?”

This book challenges readers to think closely about this phrase, and describes the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from the first page of the book’s first chapter. In fact, the book is a message of love from a mere human being.. to the best of human beings.

Written by the best-selling author of Don’t be Sad and You can be the Happiest Woman in the World, Muhammad as if you can see Him is promised to have the same effect on readers as did ‘Aid Al-Qarni’s previous writings. Continue reading
