In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful
Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala) says:
When you have finished As-Salât (the prayer – congregational), remember Allâh standing, sitting down, and (lying down) on your sides, but when you are free from danger, perform As-Salât (Iqâmat¬as¬ Salât). Verily, As-Salât (the prayer) is enjoined on the believers at fixed hours. [The Noble Qur’an An-Nisa 4: 103]
This is a Windows sidebar gadget that displays Islamic prayer times, Qibla direction, Hijri calendar, and special Islamic events. Azan sound is played at each prayer time along with a customizable reminder before Azan.
The Gadget has an offline database of 2,000+ cities worldwide, and if an Internet connection is available at install time, the Gadget can automatically detect the user’s location using a larger database of 290,000+ cities worldwide. The prayer time calculator is highly configurable allowing for multiple calculation methods, along with the possibility of fine tuning individual prayer times. The Gadget can also read a prepared prayer timetable from a CSV file.
In addition, the prayer times are displayed in different views to suite everybody’s taste: the abbreviated docked mode, the more extensive undocked mode (analog and digital clock) and the 5 Day view. The calendar can be switched between Hijri and Gregorian modes.
For more information after installation, go to Options | Help tab, or email me at: PrayersGadgetDeveloper@hotmail.com.

Problems installing the Gadget?
Some Windows 7 machines do not allow installing Unsigned Gadgets. You can enable this feature yourself by following the steps in this article:
Even though the program gives accurate prayer times, elevation of a particular city and variations in latitude and longitude settings might change the prayer times slightly. Give yourself a 10 to 15 minute grace period at each prayer time based on your city.
It is your responsibility to make sure that any CSV file you download from the Gadget Website is accurate, as I will not look through contributed files. Please report any problems that you detect in such files.
The start of each Hijri month is dependent on moon sighting, which cannot always be predicted correctly based on Astronomy. If the Hijri calendar does not fit the moon sighting in your country, you can adjust it from the Adjust tab.
