Say As Universe Says Laa ilaaha illa Allaah

Allaah The Almighty has created all of His worshipers as Muslims, testifying the Oneness of Allaah The Almighty; however, the devils came to them and changed their  religion and corrupt their faith. Allaah The Almighty says in Al-Hadeeth Al-Qudsi: ‘I have created all My slaves with the inclination to worship Me alone, but the devils come to them and turn them away from their religion. They forbid to them that which I have permitted to them, and they tell them to associate others with Me,  for which I have not sent down any authority.”1

So whenever people commit any form of Shirk, Allaah The Almighty sends His Prophets, peace be upon them, with the suitable forms of Tawheed.

Some of them have disbelieved in the Lord, the Creator such as Thamood and Fir‘awn… so Allaah The Almighty sent the Prophets, peace be upon them, to inform them about their Lord and their Creator as Moosa (Moses), peace be upon him, said to Fir‘awn (as Allaah The Almighty says on his behalf):

وَأَهۡدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخۡشَىٰ

{“And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?”} [An-Naazi‘aat 19]

Some of them disbelieved in the matter of the Names and Attributes of Allaah The Almighty such as the Jews and the Christians who said: “Allaah is the third of three” And that “ He has a wife and a child.” Exalted is He and High above what they say by great sublimity. Allaah The Almighty says:

قُلۡ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ (١) ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ (٢) لَمۡ يَلِدۡ وَلَمۡ يُولَدۡ (٣) وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُ ۥ ڪُفُوًا أَحَدٌ

{Say, “He is Allah , [who is] One, Allah , the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent.} [Al-Ikhlaas 1-4]

Although most of them know that Allaah The Almighty is the Lord and know some of His Names and Attributes, they committed Shirk by associating others in worshiping Allaah The Almighty and taking them as their gods as Allaah The Almighty says:

وَمَا يُؤۡمِنُ أَڪۡثَرُهُم بِٱللَّهِ إِلَّا وَهُم مُّشۡرِكُونَ

{And most of them believe not in Allah except while they associate others with Him.} [Yoosuf 106]

Therefore, Allaah The Almighty sent all the Prophets, peace be upon them, and the last of them, Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, to call and invite them to worship Allaah The Almighty alone and renouncing worshiping others than Him and taking Him as their One worshiped God Who has no partner. Allaah The Almighty says:

وَلَقَدۡ بَعَثۡنَا فِى ڪُلِّ أُمَّةٍ۬ رَّسُولاً أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱجۡتَنِبُواْ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتَ‌ۖ

{And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], “Worship Allah and avoid Taghut (all false deities, etc. i.e. do not worship Taghut besides Allah).} [An-Nahl 36]

As our time has a lot of Fitan (Tribulations and trials), the three different categories of Shirk have occurred; rather, the Satanism also has appeared ‘Sufficient for us is Allaah, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.’ Ignorance has become widespread and all the matters have changed. That is exactly what the infallible Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Tribulations will come like patches of dark night, when a man will wake up as a believer and by evening he will be a Kaafir (disbeliever), or in the evening he will be a believer and by morning he will be a Kaafir, selling his religion for some worldly gains.”2

No one will be saved from them except by the sound knowledge and good deeds as it is mentioned in the narration reported by Ibn Maajah: “There would be tribulations, when a man will wake up as a believer and by evening he will be a Kaafir (disbeliever), except the one whom Allaah The Almighty endowed with knowledge.”

We ask Allaah The Almighty earnestly to protect us from the Fitan, what is apparent of them and what is concealed. Continue reading

Islam In Brief By Mahmoud Ridha Murad

This is a message for every free thinking and broadminded human being. It is for every seeker of the truth who might have, once wondered, what the religion of Islam is all about. Who Allah is, what is the ultimate goal of man’s existence, or what happens after death, for these questions and many others are prompted at certain occasions, but brushed aside by various factors.

Islam is indeed a misunderstood and misrepresented religion in the West. <<This misconception is hardly surprising>>, remarks the French Dr. Maurice Bucaille, in his book, The Bible, The Qur’an and Science. <<When we consider the way so many generations are the West was instructed in the religious problems facing humanity and the ignorance in which they were kept about anything related to Islam>>. Hence Islamic ideals remain obscure from the vast majority of non-Muslims.

This booklet does not claim to answer all the questions you would like to be answered. However, this booklet will open before you a new dimension of thinking, and will enable you to realize the importance of your role as a human being in the universe, to help you understanding the relationship between you and your Creator.

God Almighty Allah. It presents Islam to you in a nutshell, and provides straightforward answers to many questions about Islam and credibility.

In this booklet, you will also be able to know Allah, the last of His Scriptures, the last of His Prophets and Messengers, what Islam is the role of man in this life and other related issues.

Lest one may think that there is an English version of the Qur’an, I would like to draw the reader’s attention to the fact that Arabic is the only language of the Qur’an. Although the Qur’anic quotations and Prophetic traditions cited in this booklet are preceded with <<Allah says>>, only the meaning of such quotations are quoted. Continue reading

A Mercy To The Universe

Saeed bin Ali bin Wahf al-Qahtani
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 452 | Size: 9 MB

Mercy is clemency and forbearance; mercy is the disposition to forgive or show compassion; mercy means a favor or a blessing; mercy further denotes the qualities of kindness, sympathy, generosity, and beneficence. Suffice is to say that all of these qualities were present in abundance in the character of the Prophet Muhammad (May Allah have his peace and blessings on him).

He was a mercy not just to believers, but to disbelievers as well, for he would invite them to come out of darkness and into the light of true guidance. He is a favor and blessing for mankind, not just the Arabs, the people among whom he was sent, but for people of all races and colors. His staunchest enemies became his closest followers when the cloud of blind prejudice was removed from their sight and when they were able, for the very first time, to see with clarity the true nature of the Prophet’s character.

This book deals with many of the qualities that the Prophet possessed that made him the mercy to everyone. It starts with His perfect lineage, His noble upbringing, and his fully dedicated worship. This book then gives many of the qualities of the Prophet including his generosity, humbleness, bravery, patience, and leadership to name a few. Each chapter includes examples from the life of the Prophet on how he was the perfect living example of that quality. The book ends with the perfection of life of the Prophet with his farewell sermon and even his noble death where he demonstrated some of those qualities as well. Continue reading

Book Of The End – Great Trials & Tribulations

Al-Hafiz Ibn Katheer Dimashqi
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 749 | Size: 22.5 MB

Like everything, the present universe will also come to an end, and it is a part of our faith to believe in the Last Day. The signs of the Day of Judgment have been foretold by our Prophet (S). Ibn Kathir has collected all the prophesies of the Prophet (S) in his book Al-Bidaayah wan-Nihaayah.

In this volume, we have presented from them the signs of the Hour and the events that are yet to take place, although mentioning very few examples of those prophesies that have already been realized.

O Allah, send prayers and salutations on Muhammad, his family, and his Companions. This is the Book of The End: Great Trials and Tribulations. It deals with what the Prophet informed us about regarding the signs of the Hour and the great events that are to take place before the Day of Judgment, all of which we must have faith in, because the Prophet spoke not from desire, but from revelation.

Abu Moosa Al-Ash’aree related that the Messenger of Allah said, “This nation of mine is one upon which there is mercy; there is no punishment upon it in the Hereafter; its punishment is in this world – with trials, earthquakes, and killings.”

Hitherto in our discussion on the unseen past, we covered in detail events that pertain to the beginning of the world, the stories of the prophets, and the history of peoples until our era. Then we discussed the biography of the Prophet (S) mentioning his characteristics and the proofs of his prophet hood. Then we covered some events that the Prophet prophesized about and that have already taken place before our century. When we gave an account of events that took place after the Prophet’s death, we pointed out those occurrences about which a Hadeeth gave information. Since we already mentioned those prophesies that have already become realized and since it would be too long to repeat them all here, we will suffice by mentioning only a few examples, after which we will return to the main theme of this work. And we seek help from Allah. Continue reading

Causes That Aid In The Memorization Of The Qur’an

https://islamfuture.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/causes-that-aid-in-the-memorization-of-the-qur-an.jpg

Shaykh Mahmood al-Misri (Abu ‘Ammar)
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 41 | Size: 1 MB

Indeed, the Noble Qur’aan is the Book of Allaah which is the Seal of all the Scriptures… it is the course for a complete life that ensures prosperity and happiness for the servant in this life and in the Hereafter. It is the inimitable Word of Allaah that is not approached by falsehood neither from before it nor from behind it.

Before the advent of the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam), Mankind was in the darkness of shirk and kufraan (disbelief) until the Messenger (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) came with the Book of Allaah ‘azza wa jall, to take this entire universe out from this darkness into the lights of Tawheed and Imaan – and for this reason, Allaah subhaanahu wa ta’aala has said about this great Book,

“…(This is) a Book which We have revealed unto you in order that you might lead mankind out of darkness into light by their Lord’s Leave to the Path of the All-Mighty, the Owner of all Praise.” [Ibrahim: 1]

So this Ummah (Nation) turned around with this Book and turned away from shirk and jahiliyyah (ignorance) towards guidance and tawheed, away from the worship of creation to the worship of the Lord of creation and went from being an Ummah that lived along the margins of life to one that took leadership over Mankind and steered it towards the success of both worlds.

The Noble Qur’aan came to train up an Ummah, to produce a society and to build a wellfunctioning system… this training requires a portion of time and it needs to have an effect. It needs to act upon a Word and it needs to have a movement that expresses these actions and effects into a visible reality for the people.

Contemplate over the saying of ‘Aisha (radi’Allaahu ‘anhaa) when she was asked about the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam), she said – as is narrated in Sahih Muslim – “His character was the Qur’aan.”

So whoever wishes to take on the character of the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam), then he needs to take hold of the Qur’aan and the Sunnah of the leader of Mankind (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam). Continue reading

The Beginning And The End

The origin and creation of the universe is an issue which has concerned man throughout the ages, especially non-Muslims; since Islam has clarified and expounded all matters that need clarification. Therefore, Muslims are not puzzled or confused, (concerning the phenomenon that occurs in the universe) and they do not invent theories and hypothesis regarding these things, which may be discarded with the advent of a new theory.

We firmly believe that whatever is mentioned in the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah regarding these issues is the truth which all theories must conform to. All that differs with it would indeed be proven false.

Allah (SWT) the Creator of the seen and unseen worlds, is not in need of His creation; rather, His creation is in need of Him. Allah (SWT) says:

(O mankind! It is you who stand in need of Allah, but Allah is Rich (Free of all wants and needs), worthy of all praise. * If He wills, He could destroy you and bring about a new creation. * And that is not hard for Allah.) [35:15-7]

You alone would benefit from your belief and righteous deeds. Allah (SWT) says:

(If you disbelieve (then that is for your own harm), (for) Allah is not in need of you. (But) He is not pleased with disbelief for His slaves. And if you are grateful (by being believers), He is pleased therewith for you.) [39:7] Continue reading

The Key To Happiness

All praise is due to Allah alone, and may Allah exalt the mention of our Prophet and render him, his household and his companions safe from every evil.

You may find the ‘key to your happiness’ by spending a few minutes reading through this booklet, so don’t ‘jump the gun’ by holding preconceived notions till you completely read through it. You can’t judge a book by its cover, nor would you have read a book by simply skimming through it.

Dear reader, I think you will agree with me that we live in a beautiful world that is worthy of contemplation; the creatures that dwell within it, the intricate correlation of planets, heavenly bodies and galaxies that can be witnessed are proof enough; if there were no Creator everything would fall into chaos! God, the Exalted, says:

“It is not possible for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming.” (36:40)

These heavenly bodies will continue in their orbits until the Creator ordains that they are to stop, at which point chaos would spread; marking the end of this life as we know it. God, the Exalted, says:

“When the sky breaks apart and when the stars fall, scattering and when the seas are erupted and when the [contents of] graves are scattered [i.e., exposed]” (82:1-4) Continue reading
