Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum – The Sealed Nectar (Biography Of The Noble Prophet) – Coloured Edition

A complete authoritative book on the life of Prophet Muhammad (S) by Sheikh Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarkpuri. It was honored by the World Muslim League as first prize winner book. Whoever wants to know the whole life style of the Prophet in detail must read this book.

Muhammad (S) is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him, are severe against the disbelievers, and merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and falling down prostrate (in prayer), seeking bounty from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. The mark of them (i.e. of their Faith) is on their faces (fore heads) from the traces of prostration (during prayers). This is their description in the Taurah (Torah). But their description in the Injeel (Gospel) is like a (sown) seed which sends forth its shoot, then makes it strong, and becomes thick and it stands straight on its stem, delighting the sowers, that He may enrage the disbelievers with them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous good deeds, forgiveness and a mighty reward (Paradise). (Al-Fath: 29)

The Prophet Muhammad (S) said: “The example of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like abundant rain falling on the earth. Some of which was fertile soil that absorbed rain-water and brought forth vegetation and grass in abundance. (And) another portion of it was hard and held the rain-water and Allah benefited the people with it and they utilized it for drinking (making their animals drink from it) and to irrigate the land for cultivation. (And) a portion of it was barren which could neither hold the water nor bring forth vegetation (then that land gave no benefits). The first is the example of the person who comprehends Allah’s Religion (Islam) and gets benefit (from the knowledge) which Allah (Azawajal) has revealed through me (the Prophet) and learns and then teaches it to others. The (last example is that of a) person who does not care for it and does not take Allah’s Guidance revealed through me (he is like that barren land).” (Al-Mukarramah)

The heart of every Muslim is filled with love for the last Prophet Muhammad (S) and this love of the messenger of Allah is an asset for him. Love and respect of a person depends on the benefits we get from him, As the Prophet , is the greatest benefactor of humanity, every Muslim has deepest love for him, Every deed of his life is to be followed by every individual of the Muslim Ummah. Highest love for the Prophet (S) is made a test of our Faith. Allah the All-Mighty has described and explained the status of Muhammad (S) in the Qur’an: “Say (O Muhammad (S) to mankind): If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic monotheism, follow the Qur’an and the Sunnah), Allah will love you…” (3:31) Continue reading

Allaah granted his Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, qualities of perfection and noble characteristics which distinguished him from all other human beings. Consequently, he, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, combined all the possible virtuous human traits and was the best leading example in treating others with benevolence. He, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, was a sublime example in his interactions with people, old and young, believers and disbelievers, the common people and close Companions. He, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, would support the oppressed, aid the needy, persevere patiently despite the harm he faced from foolish people, face evil with goodness, meet people with a smiling and cheerful face and was unfailingly generous and kind when dealing with people.

As soon as his enemies discovered his extraordinary personality and his exceptional manners, they immediately responded to his call and believed in the message he was preaching. One such person who came to believe in him told him after accepting Islaam: ” I swear by Allaah O Muhammad! There was no one on the face of the earth who was more detested to me than you. However, now your religion (the religion you are conveying) is the dearest religion to me. There was no land more hated by me than your land, but now it is the dearest part of earth to me.” In this book, you will come to know the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, and how he dealt with different types of people, each according to their qualities and particular circumstances. You will know him as a husband, a father, a neighbor, a friend, as a buyer and a seller, a judge, and someone who gave jurisprudential verdicts. Allaah The Almighty sent the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, as a slave and a Messenger and bestowed upon him the best manners and the most beautiful qualities. We have outlined some of the interpersonal interactions of the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, in order to highlight how a person whose manners are in consonance with the teachings of the Qur’aan should be.

By learning about his qualities and the way he, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, interacted with people, one would know how he dealt with people in their homes, in the market and other places in all walks of life. How did this unlettered Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, treat people whether they were relatives or strangers, virtuous or sinners, noble or evil? What benefit can one derive by studying his qualities and manners, that reflect his nobility, generosity and perfect manners? This book answers all these questions and more, and paints a vivid picture of the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, who was sent by his Lord to perfect good manners. Continue reading

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, Maker of the heavens and earth, Bringer of darknesses and Light. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship beside Allah, Alone, Who is without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad, salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam (sws: peace and blessings be upon him), is His slave and messenger. Oh Allah, praise, extol, and bless Prophet Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers. Oh Allah, praise, extol, and bless the pure and righteous members of his household, his noble companions, and those who align themselves with his guidance, follow his way, and walk in his footsteps until the Day of Judgment.

Long ago, there emerged a sect distinguishing between Prophet Muhammad’s (sws) wives and the members of his family. In fact, they attacked them and slandered them, besides declaring them disbelievers, as they also did to the Prophet’s (sws) Companions, in addition to their many other false beliefs, the likes of which no Jew, Christian, or other adherent of false beliefs would deign to accept. This sect of which we speak—the Shia (the Partisans of Ali and those of their kind)—believe that their Scripture (the Holy Quran) which they admit and confess descended upon Prophet Muhammad (sws) through revelation from above has been changed. And this is only the beginning.

The sect to which we refer—the Shia and those like them—are also called the Twelvers.

This brief, concise presentation of my research will—Allah willing—address some of the erroneous beliefs and false claims of this sect, it will clarify why they are incorrect and it will provide an unequivocal refutation of them.

Before the reader begins to read this research, we would ask that he rid himself before Allah Almighty of any fanaticism, partisanship, or nationalism…this before all else. He should not let his reading of this research be that of vilification, fault-finding and discrediting because that is no benefit, and he will take truth to be falsehood without examining it critically or contemplating it.

Therefore, the reader should proceed as a seeker of truth who wishes only to follow it and to propagate it, not to discredit it and lead others away from it.

Let the esteemed reader remember the Bounty of Allah Almighty upon him that He set the truth before his eyes to think upon it and contemplate it. He did not keep it hidden.

We ask Allah (Glorious & Exalted) to give our words effect and to guide through us the hearts of His slaves, so that when they read this, it will really hit their hearts, so that they will respond and benefit from it.

We ask Him (Mighty & Sublime) to grant us acceptance in this world and the Next, to guide us and guide others through us and make us a cause of their guidance, for He (Glorious & Exalted) is the Only One with the Authority over that and the Only One Capable of it. Continue reading

Every individual is born into a religious environment that is not in accordance with his/her choice; a child is raised to follow the religion or ideology of his/her family, society or culture. Even as a new-born, he/she is assigned either the religion of his/her family or the ideology of the state; in some countries, the child’s assigned religion is even recorded on his/her birth certificate. By the time individuals reach their teens, they have usually accepted the beliefs of their parents or their particular society, feeling that they have little choice in the matter.

However, individuals often encounter, or are exposed, to various beliefs and ideologies throughout the course of their lives, leading many to question long-held beliefs, traditions or philosophical ideas. They begin to question the validity of their own beliefs. Seekers of truth often reach a point of confusion, especially upon realising that the believers of every religion, sect, ideology and philosophy claim to profess the one and only truth.

Amongst these beliefs is the one which Christians hold against Muhammad (salla Allâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam – blessings and peace be upon him), the Prophet of Islam, that he is not a true Messenger of God – Allah (subhânahu wa Ta‘âlâ – Glorified and Exalted is He).

Simply and logically, this book sheds light on biblical proofs that Muhammad is a true Prophet of Allah, who was prophesised about by his directly-preceding Prophet Jesus (‘alayhi as-salâm – peace be upon him). Before we proceed with the book, here is a reminder to bear the following four things in mind in one’s quest for the truth:

Firstly, Allah has given us the ability and the intellect to discover the answer to this crucial question, which is also a lifechanging decision: What is the True Religion?

Secondly, Allah, the Most Compassionate, has not left us to go astray without any guidance. Indeed, He sent us prophets with scriptures to show us the right path.

Thirdly, always remember the underlying reason for this search: the ever-lasting life to come depends upon finding the true religion in this life. This should be your ultimate motivation, and a driving force to keep you searching until you are completely satisfied.

Fourthly, one can only determine the true path and make a rational and correct decision if one willingly puts aside, all the emotions and prejudices, which often blind one to reality.

With this short preface, I leave you to peruse the book. Continue reading

A Day in The Life of Muhammad – A Study in The Prophet’s Daily Programme Here is the city of palm dates and lively hearts; here lives his heart. It is his place, his city, his people. It is the city in which everything came alight when he arrived. Its people and its very nature loved him. Here is Mount Uhud with which he had a relation of mutual love. These narrow alleyways will recognize his footsteps. Here will be his mosque and adjacent to it will be his small rooms. But here in the mosque will also gather a great band of men, eager to follow him and do his bidding. With them he will have a pure relation of mutual love. He is always with them; but his special relation is with God We will look at Prophet Muhammad’s management of his day, hour by hour, to gain an insight into the simplicity of his great life, the spontaneity of his serious life, the perfect balance between his activities and the fulfillment of complementary needs. The Meaning Of Life | Muslim Spoken Word

We spend so much time living life, yet not enough time thinking about what are we doing alive. Ponder over the purpose of life, our existence, who is responsible for our creation and what happens when we leave. If you don’t want to think about where you came from, at least think about where you are going to go when it’s all over.
