The Battle of Qadisiyyah (The Fall of the Mighty Persian Empire)

Abdul Malik Mujahid
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 109 | Size: 18 MB

The victory of Qadisiyyah heralded the downfall of the Sasanian Dynasty, paved the way for the conquest of Iraq and quickened Islamic expansion into Persia (Iran) and beyond. The Iranians had 240,000 troops, but the Muslims with about 30,000 soldiers still drove the Iranian Empire, one of the superpowers of the day, into the ground. At Al-Qadisiyyah, the Muslims were able to break the Persian might, dealing them a blow from which they would never recover. The Battle of Al-Qadisiyyah is therefore one of the most decisive battles in the history of humanity. A Letter From The Adherents Of The Sunnah Of Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) To The Shia

Muhammad al-Sayed Muhammad
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 102 | Size: 2.5 MB

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, Maker of the heavens and earth, Bringer of darknesses and Light. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship beside Allah, Alone, Who is without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad, salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam (sws: peace and blessings be upon him), is His slave and messenger. Oh Allah, praise, extol, and bless Prophet Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers. Oh Allah, praise, extol, and bless the pure and righteous members of his household, his noble companions, and those who align themselves with his guidance, follow his way, and walk in his footsteps until the Day of Judgment.

Long ago, there emerged a sect distinguishing between Prophet Muhammad’s (sws) wives and the members of his family. In fact, they attacked them and slandered them, besides declaring them disbelievers, as they also did to the Prophet’s (sws) Companions, in addition to their many other false beliefs, the likes of which no Jew, Christian, or other adherent of false beliefs would deign to accept. This sect of which we speak—the Shia (the Partisans of Ali and those of their kind)—believe that their Scripture (the Holy Quran) which they admit and confess descended upon Prophet Muhammad (sws) through revelation from above has been changed. And this is only the beginning.

The sect to which we refer—the Shia and those like them—are also called the Twelvers.

This brief, concise presentation of my research will—Allah willing—address some of the erroneous beliefs and false claims of this sect, it will clarify why they are incorrect and it will provide an unequivocal refutation of them.

Before the reader begins to read this research, we would ask that he rid himself before Allah Almighty of any fanaticism, partisanship, or nationalism…this before all else. He should not let his reading of this research be that of vilification, fault-finding and discrediting because that is no benefit, and he will take truth to be falsehood without examining it critically or contemplating it.

Therefore, the reader should proceed as a seeker of truth who wishes only to follow it and to propagate it, not to discredit it and lead others away from it.

Let the esteemed reader remember the Bounty of Allah Almighty upon him that He set the truth before his eyes to think upon it and contemplate it. He did not keep it hidden.

We ask Allah (Glorious & Exalted) to give our words effect and to guide through us the hearts of His slaves, so that when they read this, it will really hit their hearts, so that they will respond and benefit from it.

We ask Him (Mighty & Sublime) to grant us acceptance in this world and the Next, to guide us and guide others through us and make us a cause of their guidance, for He (Glorious & Exalted) is the Only One with the Authority over that and the Only One Capable of it. Continue reading

A Gift To The Barailwis

Ali Hassan Khan
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 68 | Size: 1 MB

All thanks to Allah, Lord of the Universe, and may His salah and salam be on our Prophet (saw), his household and companions.

I have compiled this small booklet in order to show to Bralwis laymen that the great scholars of this community oppose the creed of Ahmad Raza Khan. But as Brawlis scholars have put hatred in the hearts of their followers towards the Salafis and Ahlul Hadith, if I was to translate myself quotes of scholars, Brawlis would not read it, saying Salafis are liars. That is why, in this booklet, I have only gathered sayings of scholars as translated and published by Sufis themselves, so Brawlis cannot say these Sufis translators are liars.

Aisha Bewley, Abdassammad Clarke, Muhtar Holland, Nuh Keller, Abdal Hakim Murad, Nancy Roberts and all others are all well known Sufis, so Brawlis should at least aknowledge that their translation is correct, and all these scholars quoted such as Al-Ghazali, Qadhi ‘Iyad, An-Nawawi, Al-Qurtubi, As-Suyuti, Shah Waliyullah, Ibn Rajab, Ash-Shirazi, Al-Amidi, Ibnul Hajib, Al-Baydawi, Al-Jilani, Shurunbulali and all others oppose the creed of Ahmad Raza Khan.

I have also translated some quotes from Bralwi scholars themselves, from their books written in Urdu, such as the Tafsir of Al-Muradabadi, the tafsir “Dhiya ul-Quran” of Karam Shah Al- Bhervi and the Sharh of “Sahih Muslim” of Ghulam Rasul As-Sa’idi, as Brawlis generally know Urdu and can check these books themselves.

And Ghulam Rasul As-Sa’idi quoted scholars such as An-Nawawi, Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani, Badrudin Al-‘Ayni, Mulla Ali Al-Qari, Al-Qurtubi, Al-Alusi, Ar-Razi and others saying that prophets can err in matters of Ijtihad.

So Bralwis laymen cannot deny these quotes and they have to acknowledge that all these great scholars oppose the creed of Ahmad Raza Khan.

My aim is only to show the proofs from Quran and Hadith, with the interpretatrion of these Great scholars, as for guidance, then only Allah can guide Brawlis. May Allah send Salah and Salam on His Messenger (saw), his family, companions. Continue reading

A Calm Dialogue Between Sunnah And Shia

Abdur-Rahman Demashqeyyah
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 132 | Size: 1 MB

In this book, Dr. Abdur-Rahman Dimashqeyyah shows and discusses the wrong believes in Shii doctrine. He said in his introduction, “… My intention is simply to make clear to every Shia what the books of their religious leaders contain. These are things that many people still do not realize. My intention is to maintain an objective position, far from bigotry and blind allegiance to traditions. My only reason for writing it is to earn the pleasure of Allah and to clarify the truth to all who are interested to hear it. We should all free ourselves from prejudice and wild ideas, and avoid making inflammatory and insulting charges that fuel the emotions, block the path to truth, and widen the chasm between us. These things do nothing but dissipate the spirit of peace and harmony.

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. Peace and blessings be upon the most noble of the Messengers, Muhammad,1 and upon his family and Companions.

I dedicate this paper to every Shia who is willing to listen to constructive criticism with an open heart and an enlightened mind. This research is, in fact, a survey of the literature about the rise and spread of Shiism and its fundamental principles. Much of what follows is taken directly from Shia sources. Details of all the sources I have used are recorded in footnotes where interested readers will find page and volume numbers of the works cited. Anyone who wishes may then refer to the original Shia works and check what I have said.

I would like to stress that I do not intend to imply that every Shia must necessarily believe everything that I have reported about their beliefs and doctrines. My intention is simply to make clear to every Shia what the books of their religious leaders contain.

I am firmly convinced that we must begin with a sincere commitment to truth and believe that the struggle between truth and falsehood will continue until the Day of Resurrection. I am also convinced that truth must be presented without recourse to insults, curses or profanity. Allah has commanded us to observe the highest standards of dignity and self-respect when we argue with the “People of the Book.”2 Therefore, it is fitting for us to show even more respect to the people of our Book when we come to disagree with them and discuss these disagreements.

I look forward to the day when Allah joins our two communities with His Book and the Sunnah of His Messenger. May Allah hasten the day when He binds our hearts together again, after this long and bitter separation that has only benefited the enemies of the Muslims, and given them an ugly advantage from the beginning of our estrangement right up to today. Genesis And Evolution Of Shi’a And Shia’ism

Allama Ehsan Elahi Zaheer
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 210 | Size: 2 MB

Before I touch on the topic, I would like to unveil the facts which are hidden not only from the common run of people, but also from the will-informed persons. One of the facts is that ‘suppressio veri’, suppression of truth or lying is a Shia way of life. They have elevated ‘suggestio falsi’ to the level of a full-fledged faith. They have sanctified a mere tissue of lies by conferring on it the label of “Taqiyyah”; but a lie is always a le whether one presents it baldly or wraps it up in multi-coloured gift paper. To identify a self-concocted prescription with divine revelation is simply inconceivable and only a psoturemaster or a Jack pudding could conceive such an equation. No sensible or sensitive person or group of people can transform sheer flap-doodle into religious faith because it lacks both divine sanction and rational expectance. But the Shias have performed this impossible feat by turning their Punic faith into a divinely guaranteed philosophy of life which relies mainly on the projection of lies and ‘supercherie’, quackery and charlatanism, bluff and mummery. Their attitude towards “Taqiyyah” is characteristic of their whole mentality: it is a reflection of the collective Shia psyche which is suffering from a chronic moral and spiritual jaundice. The Shias observe (any one who does not observe Taqiyyah – adopts dissimulation as a way of life – is not a believer). And the painful irony of it is that, as a practical demonstration of their penchant for dissimulation, these stool-pigeons have imputed the statement to Imam Muhammad Baqir.

Hadhrat Ali and his family members protested almost invariably against the Shia propensity towards falsification and equivocation. These Imams expressed their displeasure at the Shia habit of misrepresenting facts and always complained against their clap-trap charlatanism. Kashi, one of the most distinguished Shia experts of human psychology, has related on the authority of Ibn Sanam:

“Abu Abdullah remarked that there is no doubt that we Ahl-i-Bait are in the right but we are not immune against the lies of the impostors who may impute some bouncer to us and damage our veracity by spreading humbug about us as the Prophet (peace be upon him) was the most truthful among mankind but Musailmah Kazab attributed lies to him. Similarly, after him, Hadhrat Ali was the most truthful among mankind but Abu Abdullah Hussain bin Ali. Then he mentioned Harith Shami and Banan and pointed out that they blurted lies about Ale bin Hussain. Then he cursed Mughirah bin S’aid, Bazigha, Siri, Abul Khatab, Mu’amar, Bashar-ul-Ashari, Hamza Yazidi, and S’aid Nahdi and said: we are not immune against these liars; they impute fabrications to us. May God protect us against the evil of each liar and send him to hell”.

The other fact is that he people, who roll the rosary of allegations and accusations against Hadhrat Uthman, were in fact the people who caused his martyrdom and flung open the gate of dissension among the Muslims. The majority of these traditionalists are Shias. They have magnified microscopic details and transformed Lillipution realties into Brobdignaggian monsters, and the historians have further doubled up the confusion by uncritically accepting the packet of lies handed down to them through the prejudiced traditionists. The result is that it is almost a Sisyphian labour to sort out fact from fiction and reality from phantasy. The writers and historians have followed a highly whimsical line of action; they have included every insignificant and cooked-up detail genuineness of their borrowed plumes; but they have ignored and excluded even the significant details that clash with their highly volatile priorities and scoff at their spurious thesis.

The third fact is that these traditionists have not based their perverse findings on the evidence of the direct or firsthand witnesses. They are mostly based on derivative evidence and they have reproduced mere hear-say and baseless observations without caring to test their veracity, creating a jumble of unassorted evidence. Some of the examples are glaring violations of ten years between the events and the reporters of these events. The matter will be discussed at length in the subsequent pages. Continue reading

Unravelling The Myths About The Shee’ah

Abdul-Haq ibn Kofi ibn Kwesi ibn al-Ashanti
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 57 | Size: 1 MB

Indeed, all praise is due to Allaah, we thank Him and from seek His help and forgiveness. We also seek refuge in Allaah from the evils of our souls and from our evil actions. I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship except Allaah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.1 The best speech is the Book of Allah and the best way is the way of Muhammad (sallallaahu alayhi wassallam). The worst of affairs are the innovations (into the religion of Islaam), because every innovation is heresy, every heresy is deviation and every deviation leads to the hellfire.

This humble study is for the sincere people that are seeking the truth. It is not intended to be an attack on a person’s identity, or on the culture that a person happens to be born into without full knowledge, or what one thought was Islaam without access to the full facts. Rather, it hopes to outline some of the beliefs of the Shee’ah and show how they are not in line with Islaam as presented in the Qur’aan, Sunnah (way) of Muhammad (sallallaahu alayhi wassallam) or the understandings of the early generations of righteous Muslims. Please look at the evidence presented fairly as we do feel the need to resort to bringing about conflicts with the ignorant, facts have merely been presented and it is for the sincere reader to decide.

Unfortunately, due to the secretive manner of the ‘knowledgable’ amongst the Shee’ah, many people are not aware of their actual beliefs. Muslims are not conscious of the differences between Islaam and the Shee’ah belief. Most Shee’ah writings revolve around emotional issues of love for the Prophet’s family and people believe that the Shee’ah belief is just this. However, they can still be Muslims and love the family of the Prophet in the way that they deserve without being Shee’ah.

In our call to Tawheed, we are faced with many Shee’ah people who are not familiar with what the majority of their own scholars have invented which have thus rendered the Shee’ah belief system as heretical, contrary to the understanding of the family and companions of the Prophet and thus outside the fold of Islaam. We repeat that we are not trying to offend the average Shee’ah, who may not even practice Islaam, but the truth of what will be presented in this short work should be assessed fairly and unemotionally.

The religious beliefs and practices of extremist Shee’ah segregate them from Islaam, the Shee’ah have specific beliefs about Allaah and His attributes, the Prophets, the mission and call of Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu alayhi wassallam) and even the Qur’aan.2 A short history of the Shee’ah will be detailed with all the sources quoted and referenced for those who wish to pursue further research and study, followed by a point by point analysis of the main Shee’ah concepts. The evidence concealed in the books of Shee’ah scholars themselves will be analyzed so as to be unbiased and to demonstrate that the family of the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu alayhi wassallam) followed the truth of the Qur’aan and Sunnah and never cursed the Sahaabah (Companions of Muhammad) and further dismissed the extreme claims of those Shee’ah who came much later.

For example, these quotes from the family of the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu alayhi wassallam) will reveal the contradictory practice of cursing the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad and hating most of the Companions which is done by the extreme Shee’ah.

The term ‘Shee’ah’ (plural: Shiya’) comes from the Arabic verb ‘Shaa’a’ which means to spread, hence ‘Shee’ah’ means a faction or sect and is used with that meaning in the Qur’aan in both singular and plural forms many times. For example:

ثُمَّ لَنَنزِعَنَّ مِن كُلِّ شِيعَةٍ أَيُّہُمۡ أَشَدُّ عَلَى ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ عِتِيًّ۬ا

Then We will certainly drag out from ever sect (Shee’ah) those who were most obstinate in their rebellion against Allaah, Most Gracious {Maryam: 69}

As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects (Shiya’) you have no part in them in the least. Their affairs are with Allaah, He will tell them the truth of what they did in the end {al-An’aam: 159}

The term ‘Shee’ah’ was first used to describe the followers of the fourth rightly guided Caliph, ‘Ali ibn Abee Taalib, may Allaah be pleased with him, and the term came to be applied to those who simply loved and greatly respected the family of the Prophet Muhammad. However, after ‘Ali’s death, some of his followers retained the name exclusively and they began to rapidly deteriorate in morals, creed and belief. Continue reading

The Difference Between The Shee’ah And The Muslims

Saeed Ismail Seni
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 35 | Size: 1 MB

An important book shows the corrupt belief of Shi’ites. The author said in the introduction, “I wrote this book for a number of reasons including: (1) The increased efforts of the Shi’ites to spread their ideology in the Muslim world. (2) The danger of this deviant sect poses on Islam. (3) The ignorance of many Muslims about the danger of this deviant sect. (4) The corrupt Aqeedah (belief system) of the Shi’ites, which includes polytheism, defamation of the Quran and defamation of the Companions of the Prophet, may Allah be pleased with them all. (5) Their extreme beliefs in relation to their imams. Continue reading

The Companions Of The Prophet

Different lecturs compiled together in one video on the subject of the companions of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Gods Peace and Blessings be Upon Him). “Whoever abuses my Companions, upon them is the curse of Allah, the angels and all the people” [Saheeh, At-Tabaranee]. As you see it is totally haram to defame or swear at the Sahaba. Continue reading

The Shiites And Al-Aqsa Mosque

Tariq Ahmad Hijazi
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 53 | Size: 1 MB

Perhaps some people will disapprove that we write about the position that Aqsa Mosque occupies in the hearts of the Muslims and in the Sharee’ah of Islam.  For, the sanctity of Al-Aqsa mosque is an incontestable fact among the Muslims and the position it occupies does not need any further explanation. The merits of this mosque are established by explicit texts from the Qur’an and the Sunnah and the consensus of the Muslims.

However, we are sure that the reader of this book will excuse us for the facts we are going to reveal, and realize how much we have been deceived by some  people who claim to support Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Land of Israa and to defend the oppressed Palestinian people and their sacred sites.

Therefore, it is very pertinent to rise up in defence of Al-Aqsa Mosque and to call attention to the fact that the Shiite books and their authorized sources, which they wrote with their own hands, indicate that they have no regard or recognition for Al-Aqsa Mosque in its present location and that, according to

them. They also hold that ‘real Al-Aqsa mosque’ is in the Heaven and that majority of people mistakenly believe that it is the mosque that is in Palestine!! We have tried to not leave out those claims without refutations that show their falsity. This is a contribution we can make to reveal the truth so that all  the Muslims will be aware of the enormity of the deception and fraud of those folks.

Through research and exhaustive study, we have affirmed that all those Jews and orientalists who have attempted to cast doubt on the position of the blessed  Al-Aqsa Mosque relied heavily, in support their vicious claims, on Shiite sources. They thereby used these sources as a weapon against foundations of our  Ummah with an aim to shaken the position of Al-Aqsa Mosque in our hearts.

We deem it suitable to point it out here that our goal is to unite the ranks of this Ummah to support our sacred sites and to love those individuals whom  Allah used to win these places for Islam. We also intend to block the way in the face of these Jewish ‘professors’ and orientalists who find in the Shiite  books, a ready tool for weakening the position that Al-Aqsa Mosque occupies in the hearts of the Muslims. As such, those dubious narrations whose goal is to  cast doubt on the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque must be meticulously scrutinized and the sanctity of that mosque must be proved through argument and authentic evidences. A Critical Analysis Of The Modernists And Hadeeth Rejecters

Sajid A. Kayum
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 145 | Size: 8.5 MB

As Muslims, we are obliged to believe and understand our religion in a manner that Allah wants us to. The way to achieve this is mentioned in the Qur’aan. Allah says, “And if they believe as you (i.e., the Sahabah) believe then they are rightly guided, but if they turn away, then they are only in opposition.” [Soorah al-Baqarah (2): 137]. In light of this verse, the correct understanding is what emulates the beliefs and understandings of the Sahabah (the Prophet’s Companions).

The Sahabah were the fortunate people who accompanied the Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) and learned the religion directly from him (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam). They witnessed the revelation of the Qur’aan and the Sunnah and experienced the circumstances in which they were revealed. The Sahabah’s understanding of the religion is therefore, the most pure and perfect, and they are a group that has definitely succeeded in achieving what Faith is meant to achieve, i.e. Allah’s Pleasure. “And the first to embrace Islam of the Muhajirun (those who migrated from Makkah to al-Medina) and the Ansar (the people of al-Medina who helped the Muhajirun) and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). Allah is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success.” [Soorah at-Tawbah (9):100]

Apathy towards the understanding of the Sahabah as well as free interpretation of Islamic texts are the primary causes of misconceptions and confusion; and consequently straying from the path of the ‘the rightly guided’. The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said, “This Ummah (nation) will split into seventy-three sects, all of them in the Fire except one.” They asked, “What is that sect?” He (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said, “That which I and my Companions are upon today.” [at-Tabaraanee] Continue reading
