Muhammad (PBUH) The Finest Man Who Ever Lived

Shaykh Hishaam Muhammad Sa‘eed Barghash, PhD

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds, and may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon Muhammad ibn ‘Abdillaah, the seal of the prophets, the finest of the former and latter generations, our master and ideal example.

He is the possessor of the Hawdh (Basin) from which the believers will drink on the day of Judgment; the Banner under which the believers will gather; the Station of Praise and Glory; and the Bright Marks on his face, hands and feet (from the remnants of his ablution). He is the one who was mentioned in the Tawraah (Torah) and Injeel (Gospel), and supported by the Angel Jibreel (Gabriel), may Allaah exalt his mention.

His Lord distinguished him with the Israa’ and Mi‘raaj (Night Journey to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa and Ascent to Heaven) and He split the moon for him, and made a cure and blessing in his saliva and sweat. With his invocations the rain was sent down. To him the trees submitted. Upon him, camels and stones sent their salutations. He was made victorious by awe, for Allaah terrified his enemies at a distance of a month’s journey.

He is the master of the sons of Aadam (Adam), and this is no boast. The evidences of his prophethood are numerous and his noble manners and attributes are countless.

The best of creation in his childhood, the most purified in his youth, the superior in his maturity, the most righteous throughout his lifetime, the most just of judges, and the bravest on the battlefield. Allaah The Almighty endowed him with every sublime moral and refined manner, purified him from every impurity, guarded him against every slip, taught him good manners, educated him well and endowed him with every noble trait. Thus, no one could be like him in his perfection, nobility, truthfulness, honesty, asceticism, bashfulness and chastity.

Such is the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. All those who knew him well acknowledged his nobility, excellent nature, kind-heartedness, gentleness, wisdom, intelligence, firm determination and compassion.

No one can read about the magnanimous manners and the noble character of the Messenger, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, without expressing admiration of his character and bedazzlement by it. Thus, it is no wonder that we see such fragrant praise and objective testimonies from many of those who have not even embraced Islam. History has recorded their quotations, writings and heritage in this regard and this provides firm evidence and decisive proof of his sublime morals and characteristics, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.

Nobody ever experienced the amount of hardship, trials, difficulties and crises that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, experienced throughout his mission. However, he confronted all such strains with the ultimate perseverance and steadfastness.

He was patient when he was an orphan, when he was poor, hungry and needy. He was described as a liar, a poet, a soothsayer, a sorcerer, and insane, yet he was patient. He was harmed, wronged, cursed and insulted, yet he was patient.

His uncle Abu Taalib died, and he remained patient. His wife died, and he remained patient. People drove him out and fought him, and he remained patient. His uncle Hamzah was killed, and he remained patient. His son died, and he remained patient. False accusations were made against his chaste noble wife, yet he was patient and forbearing.

His relatives were killed, his companions were murdered, his followers were driven out of their homes, his enemies gathered against him to fight him, yet he was patient and forbearing.

He had a great deal of patience with those who attacked and insulted him, with those who gathered together to fight him, with the aggression of those who denied the truth and the power of falsehood.

He had a great deal of patience in the face of the adornments and beautifications of the worldly life, and was attached to none of it.

The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, was the ideal example of ultimate perseverance and steadfastness in all his life affairs. In fact, patience was his armour, shield, friend and ally.

Whenever he was disturbed by the malicious words of his enemies, he would remember the verse in which Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {So be patient over what they say.} [Quran 20:130]

Whenever he feared the power of his enemies or when the disbelievers harmed him, he would remember the verse in which Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {So be patient, [O Muhammad], as were those of determination among the messengers and do not be impatient for them.} [Quran 46:35] Continue reading

The Man In The Red Underpants

Who is the man in the red underpants?
What does he want and why are his pants red and not pink? Did he really get his red underpants from Agent Provacateur and what does he want anyway?

None of these questions are dealt with in this book! Rather this book asks you to think about how you would deal with the man in the red underpants. It will take you on a journey in which you will encounter some startling conclusions. If you believe in unbelievable things without proof, then put this book down now, and if you think that you’re a thinker, think again!

The man in the Red Underpants will make sure your life is never the same again…

Chapter 1:

THE JOURNEY BEGINS

I’m pretty sure you’re not going to like this. Probably not one bit. It talks about all sorts of things that a lot of us spend a lot of time trying to avoid. Like death! Yes, that’s right, death. Death, judgement, hellfire and paradise (or is it all pie in the sky?), the meaning of life and of course, the big one – is there really a God, or is it all a delusion? Just the sort of things you’d try your utmost to avoid thinking about. And what has this got to do with the man in the red underpants anyway?

I want you to come with me on a journey. It’s not a long one, but on the way we are going to encounter some very interesting and probably scary things, and things that you won’t want to believe even though they make sense. Some of you are chickening out already; some of you will put this down and not even finish it, and some of you will turn you noses up in disgust, and that is very, very sad because you’ll miss out on the most important thing in your life ever!

There are some of you who will read the whole thing and perhaps even agree with it, but never get round to doing anything about it, and that is both really sad and really bad. Well, I told you this is going to have stuff you won’t like! But somewhere, some of you will see it all through. You’ll think a little, or a lot, and then you’ll do something truly amazing with your life, you’ll accept the inevitable conclusions of reason, take a deep breath (at least mentally) and decide to make a commitment that will transform you in wonderful ways. As scary as it seems, and once you do that, things will make even more sense.

OK, enough of the hype, let’s get down to the nitty gritty. Let’s begin the journey and step aboard our vehicle; reason and common sense. Continue reading

The Book Of (Nikah) Marriage

https://islamfuture.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/the-book-of-nikah-marriage.jpg

Muhammad Bin Ibrahim Al-Tuwajre
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 48 | Size: 1.5 MB

The nikah, or marriage and pairing are of the laws that Allah has passed for His creatures. Pairing applies in general to animal and vegetation. As for man, Allah has distinguished him over the rest of His creation by assigning to him a suitable system whereby man’s dignity and honor may be maintained, and his esteem may be preserved through legal nikah. Such a procedure secures a relationship between man and woman that is based on mutual respect and consent. Thus man’s natural need are fulfilled in a sound manner to preserve posterity and protect woman from being a common object.

The nikah is one of the Islamic laws to which the Messenger, peace be upon him, encouraged the youth saying:

Young people! Whoever of you can afford marriage, let him get married, for marriage helps restrain the looks, and preserve theist chastity. He who cannot afford it, let him abserve fasting for fasting is deterrent.

The Wisdom of Marriage:

1- Marriage is healthy environment in which the family maintains its cohesiveness and reciprocal love. It also helps maintain chastity and guards one from committing the prohibited.
2- Marriage is the best means of reproduction and multiplication, and preserving the family lineage.
3- Marriage is the best means of fulfilling sexual needs free from related diseases.
4- Marriage fulfills the parental and maternal senses in man through having children.
5- Marriage helps maintain the sense of security, self-contentment, and chastity for both husband and wife. Continue reading

The Man: A Strange Creature With Diverse Qualities

Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Mo’taz
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 48 | Size: 1 MB

In this era, many people are trying to learn everything concerning the material life aiming at making their living conditions better. In this digest, the author has tried to write about the spiritual aspect of life which is, as a matter of fact, more important than any other aspects. Discussion of many topics associated with this, including weakness, disbelief, oppression, being quarrelsome, impatience, ignorance, forgetfulness, irritability, discontent, striving and working hard for worldly desire, transgression and ingratitude, turning away, and more.

“And recite to them the story of him whom We gave Our Ayat, but he threw them away; so Satan followed him up, and he became of those who went astray. And had We willed, We would surely, have elevated him there with, but he clung to the earth and followed his own vain desire. So his parable is the parable of a dog: if you drive him away, he lolls his tongue out, or if you leave him alone, he (still) lolls his tongue out. Such is the parable of the people who reject Our Ayat. So relate the stories, perhaps they may reflect. Evil is the parable of the people who rejected Our Ayat. and used to wrong their own selves.” Continue reading

The God That Never Was

Ahmed Deedat
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 19 | Size: 1 MB

Islam is the only religion which teaches the existence of a PERFECT God. A perfect God means that there is no sharer in His Nature and His Attributes: “Say: He is God, the One and Only; God, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; and there is none like unto Him.” (Quran, 112:1-4)

There has appeared a man in Benoni. He is not qualified in theology, but is fondly cherishing the self-delusion that he is an apostle of Christ, appointed by God to convert Muslims to Christianity. Because he is a lawyer by profession, he is adept at juggling with words and quoting the Holy Quran totally out of context without knowing a word of Arabic. He wants Muslims to believe that Jesus was also a God, a belief that is abhorrent to us, because it is an antithesis of the Absolute perfection of Allah Subhaanahoo Wa Ta ‘Aala! Thus intent upon reversing the process of Truth, which is: “And say: The Truth has come and falsehood vanished. Surely falsehood is ever bound to vanish.” (Quran, 17:81). In this he will never succeed because the process of Truth is irreversible. Continue reading

Did God Become Man: The main purpose for writing this booklet is to reach those who believe in God and cause them to reflect on the nature of their beliefs in the light of reason and revelation. The booklet is actually the edited version of a lecture, which I have delivered on many occasions and in many locations around the world. The positive response of the varied audiences to this lecture encouraged me to prepare it as a booklet in order to make it accessible to a wider audience. Continue reading

[Ar-Rijal Al-Amlaq] The Giant Man

https://islamfuture.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/the-giant-man.jpg

Husayn Ibn Mahmūd
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 49 | Size: 1 MB

Controversially this is the only known detailed biography of Mullah Omar in English. Little is known about the Taliban leader. “For history to be written and the Muslims bear witness for us that we were killed for the sake of Allāh, on our Islāmic fundamentals and everlasting beliefs, is better for us with Allāh, than history being written and the Muslims bearing witness against us, that we lived in health and blessing after we have changed our fundamentals and sacrificed the Banner of Jihād, and whoever thought that the Islāmic country will be blessed with dominance without trials and tests, then he is an ignorant one who does not know the biography of the Prophet, (PBUH).” “Amīr Al-Mu’minīn, Mullah Muhammad ‘Umar Mujāhid”.

Since the beginning of the events, I have been thinking of writing a journal on this unique man, but the many disasters and scarcity of sources, it did not happen. The discussion about this man is a discussion of sorrows, as the sound individuals are delighted to hear the biographies of great men that change the course of history with their stances and their actions.

We spoke about “The Lion of Islām, Abū Abdillāh Usāmah Ibn Muhammad Ibn ‘Awadh Ibn Lādin”, may Allāh preserve him. And we spoke about “The Lion of Khurāsān, Al- Mawlawī Jalāluddīn Haqqānī”, may Allāh preserve him. And we spoke about the “Shaykh of the Mujāhidīn and Reviver (Mujaddad) of the Fiqh of Jihād in the Religion, ‘Abdullāh ‘Azzām”, may Allāh have mercy on him and accept him amongst the martyrs. And we spoke about “The Sword of Islām Khattāb”, may Allāh have mercy on him and accept him amongst the martyrs. And today we have a meeting with a peak from the high peaks, which is similar in height to the mountains of Bāmīr, Sulaymān and Shāhiq, of the Hindikūsh. This man who wrote verses of forgotten honour for the Ummah, and extinct determination. So indeed, he is a school for the generations to learn the meaning of the Aqīdah of Allegiance and Disavowal (Al-Walā’ Wal-Barā’) from his honorable stances, and love for Allāh and hate for Allāh, and to study in his university, the meanings of the Eminence and Superiority of Faith (Īmān) which are is become clear in persisting upon the fundamentals and being proud of the Religion. I don’t know were to begin, as the many continuous events in the life of this man are more tan can be covered in a small amount of pages… And I wouldn’t know how to start, as the lines are similar and intertwined in a complicated way, so it is difficult to dismantle and edit them in order to look at them.

After looking into it for a long time, I thought I should write about the historical, social and Aqīdah background of the man, using his identification card, and from there will go back to him in an attempt to understand his personality and analyze his actions based on this background and based on his many stances and his rare few words. Islam The Complete And Final Message To Man

https://islamfuture.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/islam-the-complete-and-final-message-to-man.jpg

Saleh As-Saleh
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 12 | Size: 1 MB

Man’s life is not meaningless. The great wisdom of man’s creation is to submit to his Creator, Allah, following His commands and abstaining from His Prohibitions. During life, man will be subjected to trials and tests. This will expose the true submitters and worshipers of Allah from those who chose otherwise. The road for success in this life and in the Hereafter is, therefore, to worship Allah as though the submitter sees Him, and while he see Him not, He truly Sees him.

God (Allah) asserts that:

.[ ( والذين جاهدوا فينا لنَهدِيَنَّهُم سُبُلَنَا وإنَّ الله لَمَعَ المُحسِنين ) [العنكبوت، ٦٩

“As for those who strive hard in Us (Our Cause), We will surely guide them to Our Paths (i.e. Allah’s Religion-Islamic Monotheism). And verily, Allah is with the Muhsinûn (good doers).” (Qur’an 29:69)

“During Hajjatul Wadaa’,1 and on the Day of ‘Arafah-which was a Friday, the Noble ayah (verse) was revealed:

[ [ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ أَكۡمَلۡتُ لَكُمۡ دِينَكُمۡ وَأَتۡمَمۡتُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ نِعۡمَتِى وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ ٱلۡإِسۡلَـٰمَ دِينً۬ا‌ۚ ] [المائدة، ٣

“Today I have perfected your Deen for you, completed My Favors upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your Deen.” (Qur’an 5: 3)

Allah clearly explains that the Deen for has been perfected, and that it does not require any addition or deletion. That is why Allah (the Most High) sealed the office of Messenger-ship with the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), being the final and last Messenger. The fact that Allah has chosen Islam as man’s Deen, means that He does not accept other than Islam from anyone:

[ [ ومن يبتَغِ غير الإسلام ديناُ فلن يُقبَلَ منه وهو في الآخرة من الخاسرين ] [آل عمران، ٨٥

“And whoever seeks a Deen other than Islam, It will never be accepted of him, and on the Last Day he will be one of the losers.” (Qur’an 3: 85)

Allah, most Exalted, also says:

[ [ إن الدِّين عند الله الإسلام ] [آل عمران، ١٩

“The “religion” accepted by Allah is the Deen of Islam.” (Qur’an 3: 19) Continue reading
