All Praise is due to Allah. We praise Him and seek for His assistance. We seek His refuge from the evil of our own souls and from our misdeeds. No one can mislead whoever Allah guides and no one can guide whoever Allah causes to go astray.

To proceed, the Messenger of Allah, (Sallallaahu alayhi wasalaam) is indeed, the leader of mankind; this is an Islamic reality upon which all Muslims agree. And this agreement is a great blessing for this Ummah (nation). In this, all praise and favour belong to Allah.

There is no consideration for the opinion of some who deviated and believed that some Imams are greater than the Messenger of Allah, (Sallallaahu alayhi wasalaam) in terms of knowledge and other qualities. There are scholars who are capable of reinterpreting of proving the falsity of all narrations recorded in these books.

Clarity of the status of the Messenger of Allah, (Sallallaahu alayhi wasalaam), and that he is the owner of the Great Intercession, the visited Fountain and the exalted position in the world and in the Hereafter, are facts that no one can deny.

The Blessings of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasalaam) extended to the members of his household and his companions, May Allah be pleased with all of them.

Therefore, members of the Prophets Household enjoy great status. There are many Qur’anic verses and numerous Ahadith that supported this. These evidences include the mention of those among them who kept the company of the Messenger of Allah, (Sallallaahu alayhi wasalaam) as they include the mention of their offspring. They also explain their virtues and excellence. Continue reading

Book Of The End – Great Trials & Tribulations

Al-Hafiz Ibn Katheer Dimashqi
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 749 | Size: 22.5 MB

Like everything, the present universe will also come to an end, and it is a part of our faith to believe in the Last Day. The signs of the Day of Judgment have been foretold by our Prophet (S). Ibn Kathir has collected all the prophesies of the Prophet (S) in his book Al-Bidaayah wan-Nihaayah.

In this volume, we have presented from them the signs of the Hour and the events that are yet to take place, although mentioning very few examples of those prophesies that have already been realized.

O Allah, send prayers and salutations on Muhammad, his family, and his Companions. This is the Book of The End: Great Trials and Tribulations. It deals with what the Prophet informed us about regarding the signs of the Hour and the great events that are to take place before the Day of Judgment, all of which we must have faith in, because the Prophet spoke not from desire, but from revelation.

Abu Moosa Al-Ash’aree related that the Messenger of Allah said, “This nation of mine is one upon which there is mercy; there is no punishment upon it in the Hereafter; its punishment is in this world – with trials, earthquakes, and killings.”

Hitherto in our discussion on the unseen past, we covered in detail events that pertain to the beginning of the world, the stories of the prophets, and the history of peoples until our era. Then we discussed the biography of the Prophet (S) mentioning his characteristics and the proofs of his prophet hood. Then we covered some events that the Prophet prophesized about and that have already taken place before our century. When we gave an account of events that took place after the Prophet’s death, we pointed out those occurrences about which a Hadeeth gave information. Since we already mentioned those prophesies that have already become realized and since it would be too long to repeat them all here, we will suffice by mentioning only a few examples, after which we will return to the main theme of this work. And we seek help from Allah. Continue reading

The Lives Of The Prophets (PBUT)

https://islamfuture.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/the-lives-of-the-prophets-pbut.jpg

Imam Anwar Al-Awlaki

The Prophets of Allah are the greatest men that ever lived. They are the role models for humanity. Their hearts were the purest, their minds were the wisest, and their deeds were the most righteous. But a lot of what is narrated about them is fact mixed with fiction. Neither the Bible nor historical works provide a reliable account of these great men. The myths surrounding the lives of the prophets have even spilled over to some Muslim history books. So then, where can we learn about the Prophets of Allah? The truth about them is learned through the Quran and Hadith.

“The Lives of the Prophets” is a series of lectures delivered by Anwar Al-Awlaki. It is the first such series produced in the English language. The author has done extensive research in the original Arabic resources. The series is based primarily on Ibn Kathir’s ” Al-Bidayah wa-nihayah (The Beginning and the End)”. Br. Al-Awlaki has done an excellent job of relying almost completely on the Quran, Hadith and statements of the Noble Companions.

Imam Ibn Kathir’s “Al Bidayah wa-nihayah” is considered to be one of the most authoritative sources on Islamic history. Ibn Kathir (700H/1301 – 774H/1372) uses his background as a Mufasir (Commentator) on Quran, scholar of Hadith, and historian to give a comprehensive view on the lives of the prophets.

Even though Ibn Kathir’s work is the primary source for this series, Imam Anwar has consulted other books on Tafsir and Hadith to provide the English-speaking world with a lively account of the lives of the prophets of Allah. Continue reading

Dr. Hesham Al-Awadi

In this series, Dr. Hesham, Al-Awadi depicts the lives of the four great Imams. He beautifully describes their lives as students, scholars and members of society. Dr. Hesham will take you along an inspirational journey through the life and genius of Imam Abu Hanifah, the dignity of Imam Malik, the talents of Imam al-Shafi’i and the steadfastness of Imam Ahmad. Dr. Hisham succeeds in presenting the Imams in a manner that allows the listener to relate to them, and consequently benefit from their great lives regardless of whether the listener is–or aspires to be–a scholar or not. According to the Quranic injunctions this is the most important objective of presenting history. This series belongs to a category of Islamic knowledge that is among the most needed: The knowledge that attempts to revive the Muslim identity and connect the Muslims to their rich heritage. Ibn Taymiyyah
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 82 | Size: 1 MB

Part Two of the Towards Islamic Psychology series, (Part 1: Patience and Gratitude), is a planned series of books which, drawing on the Islamic scholarly heritage, will offer practical advice rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah, to address many psychological woes of our modern age. Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah defines the concept of worship in Islam and explains that to be a true “slave of Allah” is a status of both virtue and nobility. The title “slave of Allaah” is one of great honor which Allah bestowed upon the best of creation, Muhammad (SAW). Ibn Taymiyyah  highlights the prevalent traps which people fall into, when becoming enslaved by, or allowing their hearts to become attached to worldly objects. The emphasis is on servitude to Allah which is adorned with the true love we hold for Him in our hearts — a matter of central importance for every Muslim.

Highly Recommended for the young blooded who Want to Run before they can Walk and even the Old timers ‘Who sometimes are  so comfortable Walking that they have forgotten that there is sometimes a need to run’ in the Path Towards Allah. Continue reading

The Aqeedah Of At-Taifah Al-Mansoorah

The Aqeedah Of At-Taifah Al-Mansoorah: A text explaining the aqeedah of the Taifatul Mansoorah with evidences from Quran and Sunnah. Know, O servant of Allaah, that Allaah (SWT) created the whole creation behind which was a great Hikmah (wisdom) and that is to worship Him alone without making any association with Him (SWT). Allaah (SWT) said:

وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُونِ

“And I did not create man or Jinn except for my worship.” [Dhariyaat 56]

The above ayah means to worship Allaah (SWT) singularly and alone (i.e. Yuwahidoon). He ( SWT ) has also said:

وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعۡبُدُ

“And you do not worship what I worship.”[Kaafiroun 3]

Allaah (SWT) has negated all of the worship the Mushrikeen (idolators) undertake even if they performed some ritual actions for Him (SWT); since they used to perform Shirk (association) in their worship and did not practice Tawheed. Tawheed being to dedicate all Allaah (SWT)’s rights to Him exclusively without association. He (SWT) says:

وَأَنَّ ٱلۡمَسَـٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدۡعُواْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدً۬ا

“And the Masaajid (mosques) are for Allaah alone. So invoke none (make Du’a) along with Allaah.” [Jinn 18] Continue reading

Muhammed ibn Abd Al Wahab
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 17 | Size: 1 MB

This is an English version of the book entitled Fada il-e-Qur’an originally written in Arabic by the Imam Muhammad bin ‘Abdul Wahb, an eminent Muslim Scholar, and translated into Urdu by Maulana Mahmud Ahmad Ghazanfar, Mab’uth, Dar al-Ifta, Government of Saudi Arabia. Strictly speaking it is not a literal rendering of the original; rather it is the presentation of the meaning of the original in easy English language; in presenting the meaning, however, an attempt has been made to be very close to the original.

All footnotes are added by the Translator to clarify difficult phrases and words, and to  provide the reader with more relevant information. It is hoped that this small book will be of great help to the Englishknowing reader in his understanding of the Holy Qur’an. I must record my sincere thanks to Maulana Ghazanfar for carefully going through the manuscript and making valuable suggestions for improving the rendering. May Allah accept this humble effort of a worker who is neither a well versed Scholar nor a reputed Writer, and forgive him for the mistakes and shortcomings due to his ignorance and lack of knowledge.Muhammad Iqbal Siddiqi.’ Continue reading

My Great Love For Jesus Led Me To Islam

As a Catholic, I was led to believe that Catholicism was the only true religion and that Judaism was only a  preparation for Christianity. Hence, the other religions were all false. In fact, I only heard about Islam for the  first time in 1978. I had learned that Muslims believed in the divine origin of Christianity and Judaism. The Qur  an indicates that Allah (the proper name for God in the Arabic language) had sent prophets to every land in order  to guide people to the path of truth and righteousness. In order to carve the Christian message into the depths of  my subconscious, the Catholic Church designed a program which, when applied from childhood, had a very high  probability of retention. This program affected people’s beliefs and their behavior for the rest of their lives. In this scheme the central figure is Jesus, and the rites are mostly related to events surrounding his birth, supposed death and resurrection; from his birth, assumed to be in December, to his alleged crucifixion on Easter. These  religious rites were introduced by human beings many centuries after Jesus’ departure rather than by divine  revelation. Continue reading

Mahmood Ahmad Ghadanfar

This book is about the life stories of the Mothers of the Believers and 16 other Sahabyat who had been given the good news of the paradise in this world by Prophet Muhammad (S). There are good examples in the lifestyle of the Mothers of the believers and women Companions especially for the Muslim women. It is necessary for all of us to study the Seerah of these noble and fortunate women. Besides the Mothers of the believers, the compiler of the book has included the description of those sixteen women who had been given the good News of the Paradise in this world by the Prophet Muhammad (S). Although the original book is in the Urdu language but the efforts of the translator had made it more beneficial for the readers.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Verily, the Muslims (those who submit to Allah in Islam) men and women, the believers men and women (who believe in Islamic Monotheism), the men and the women who are obedient (to Allah), the men and women who are truthful (in their speech and deeds), the men and the women who are patient (in performing all the duties which Allah has ordered and in abstaining from all that Allah has forbidden), the men and the women who are humble (before their Lord – Allah), the men and the women who give Sadaqat (i.e. Zakat and alms), the men and the women who observe Saum (fast) (the obligatory fasting during the month of Ramadan, and the optional Nawafi fasting), the men and the women who guard their chastity (from illegal sexual acts) and the men and the women who remember Allah much with their hearts and tongues. Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise). (33:35) Continue reading
